Great city! Buenos Aires feels like a European capital located in Latin America (at roughly half the cost). Lots of cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, and etc. Uber and ride-share apps are very responsive & inexpensive here, but they are also not the greatest cars. The public transportation is also good. The language exchange events here are the best I have seen, heard of, or been to for those who are trying to learn languages or network with a wide variety of locals and internationals. O

There are restaurants for every taste and budget, from the best US fast casual chains to high end Michelin star restaurants. It's also extremely safe, despite recent political instability.

I am a single female- remote worker from USA with residence permit of 2 years and have to say its not what it used to be. Stormy tropical weather as we speak so unpredictable these days. Landlords charging ridiculous prices and amenities just don't match quality that should be given. Looking into Spain as we speak..

Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. Vietnamese food is world-class because of the huge Vietnamese population. If you want hipster bars and cafes, there's plenty of that. If you want old-world-charm there's plenty of that. If you want posh luxury there's some of Europes best restaurants and cockta

I was denied service several times as a Black woman in favor of white tourists or Turkish people that came after me. A bus driver also refused to let me pay and take the bus, so I have to get off. I really don't see this famed Turkish hospitality they gush about here. People are unfriendly or standoffish. I feel either invisible or a walking atm or whore to people. Not human. Worked at Outpost, which had reliable internet and organized socials. Met some folks starting up a business or working remote. Around 3pm (or 9am Moscow time) the ambient language shifted to Russian. Before you come, learn to ride a scooter. Seriously. Noisy, dirty, chaotic, incredibly beautiful and kind people. Avoid staying next to a rice field during burning season.

I don't understand why London has so high safety rating. Your phone could be stolen and your bicycle WILL be stolen here (or a part of it). I would also add that antisocial behaviour is quite common here and teenagers are heavily involved in crimes as police don't do anything with them because of their age. Basically th

The city is just amazing and offers dozens of outdoor activities. There are so many different places such as parks, lakes, hills, mountains, beaches, etc. Also, you can feel the Californication vibe on every step. I lived in Hollywood and I would avoid this place at any cost. It's just too overrated and won't meet your expectations. Hollywood (esp. West Hollywood) is a big pile of dirtiness

Dirty. Hospital system is atrocious. Its like having a bunch of shiny glossy hospitals with poorly educated doctors everywhere. Most people end up going to 'Quickcare ER' places that are plastered all over town. Lets put it this way... The school system fast tracks people to become teachers in almost no time at all & they still quit in droves all the time because kids are out of control.
