This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @7bruno's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.

7 years ago Lisbon was amazing. Since it became trendy lost what made it unique. I will return when the hype is gone!

I spent only one week here, so I canโt give super well-rounded opinion. Unfortunately BKK wasnโt for me, and I figured that out very quickly. I prefer working in cafes on USA stock market hours. I found nearly every decent cafe in Bangkok closed at 6pm or 8pm at the latest. Yes, there are some coworking places, but most donโt allow you to stay after 6pm on a drop-in basis. Traffic was hectic and stressful. Traffic jams on random streets in the middle of the day were common, so doing city t

One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Niลantaลฤฑ, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

I stayed here for 6 months and I absolutely love Mexico City. The life is comfortable if you stay in the bubbles, namely Roma Norte, Condesa and Polanco, but the living cost has increased 30% since last year, due to the inflation and skyrocketing mexican pesos. Mexican people are so friendly and I never had any safety issues. Definitely will be back in the future.

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Good internet; beautiful architecture and people but it is true Hungarians can be very cold at times. Overall a good stay with many destinations just a quick and cheap flight/tr

Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. Vietnamese food is world-class because of the huge Vietnamese population. If you want hipster bars and cafes, there's plenty of that. If you want old-world-charm there's plenty of that. If you want posh luxury there's some of Europes best restaurants and cockta

Soโฆ amazing food. Great public transportation. Very clean. But very conformist. Self expression limited. The irony of seeing an exhibit on graffiti, yet no actual graffiti in the streets. And the causal racism especially if youโre brown. You could be British born but still expect to be sat far away from everyone else at cocktail bars, experience comments and have weird assumptions made.

_____TLDR: If you value comfort, don't go to Argentina._____ I stayed for 6 months and, tbh, was really happy to leave. The main problem was that I didn't feel safe, especially at night (nothing happened to me though). I don't think the city is beautiful, yes it has some interesting architecture, especially modernist buildings, but the city itself was organized in an odd way, so it mostly has narrow streets and sidewalks, and latter are covered with dog shit or homeless people stuff. Nice and clean modern city. Nothing about it fitted my preconceptions I had as a European about Brazil: I though it'd be dangerous with favelas everywhere. Of course this is South Brazil so it's rich and very different than the North. Curitiba feels more like a Western European city than anything. It can get quite cold in the winter (which is June/July/Aug for Europeans). It has great public transport, and apparently is known for its modern urban planning that grew it from a small town in the 19

Very bad place to visit right now. The country is in a time of political and civil unrest, with mass protests closing down airports, train stations, and roads since early December 2022 (it is now mid January 2023). Tourists have had to be evacuated. The train to Machu Picchu is indefinitely closed until further notice. 48 people have died in the conflicts so far. Peru, and Cusco in particular, is a beautiful place with amazing things to see - but right now is not the time to visit.

I've casually found this page, living in Montevideo for a twelve year now I want to write a little comment about some of the things I've read here. 1) the cost of living: yes, it's expensive. no, you don't need 4000 usd/month. Of course you can spend it if you want, but actually we're a family of four and our monthly balance is about 3000$. we don't own a car, we don't go out every evening, we don't live in punta carretas. of course, if you want to live in the most expensive neighborhood and wan

Brighton has some obvious positives. It has a beach, it's one hour from London and the UK's 2 biggest airports. It's one of the few UK places outside of London which has a considerable cultural/creative scene. Unfortunately, the city has a massive problem with street-sleeping, begging and drugs (Many street people from the rest of the UK relocate to Brighton). I have been living in Quito for almost 3 years, and at this moment in time, I can not recommend it as a travel or remote work destination. A number of high profile terrorist attacks have rocked the country, and the prevalence of random violence and kidnappings in urban areas is increasing. I stayed in Poblenou, which is a really chill upcoming area outside of the tourism of Barcelona. Really enjoyed it. Very tranquil. People were relatively friendly compared to most in Europe and there was lots of nice food and coffee places. Also pretty okay gyms. Really enjoyed Barcelona this time!
