Bangkok is a really nice city. I lived 2 weeks in Bangkok and it was a good trip ! People are very nice, smiling and the cost is affordable. Some beautifuls temple, gardens, market etc. Chinatown is a place to visit, and Bangkok is globally clean !

I'm currently in Lisbon and I must say that this city has been very overhyped in terms of cost, food and overall fun. There are a lot of issues where foreigners like myself are driving up the rent and we are solely blamed for this. The larger issue here is the Portuguese government is not using these tourism dollars towards their people. Porto was like a scaled down Lisbon (I swear they are trying to copy it down to the cable car). Lots to do but manageable walking wise. I walked everywhere and always found stuff to do. Bars and clubs are focused in one main area so everything is just easier. The architecture is wonderful and the people are nice. I'd like to see the city in summer as it's just on the wrong side of comfortable and it rained quite a bit (I was there in December). Dog poo is seemingly an issue generally in Portugal

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Taxis in Istanbul are a big problem even for locals. Public transport is convenient and comfortable. If you need to call a taxi, I recommend using an app. "Bitaksi" can be used. Agree with the taxi driver using google translate and negotiate in advance if necessary. Always make public transportation your first choice. Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... I visited Prague on more than one occasion and tried something new each time. I really wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of my least favourite cities. Perhaps it was just me, but there was an overwhelming sense of distrust and dislike towards foreigners, you have to try pretty hard to blend in if you want to experience the life of a local & avoid the tourism. i stayed in BA for a few months and it firmly wasn't for me. It's a beautiful city and comically cheap for the quality of food / goods / services. People are rude and accomodation is pretty bad. Plus with the inflation of the dollar to peso (3x the buying power for foreigners) it was getting dangerous when I left. (I think someone tried to kill the vice president last week) Excellent to visit, not great to live.

Amazing place. Great weather . Great internet. Amazing beaches. After living in 30 countris now this place is my top1. And companies only pay 4% taxes if you have 3 employees.

I live in Timisoara since 2 years. It's a good place , very cheep and quiet. during summer this year a lot of festivals and cultural events. I love the weither, cold in winter but not so munch just under zero degré like minus 5 maybe 1 week or two, and very hot in July. A lot of sun anyway all the year. The food is excellent . And people are very kind and open to help you if you ask them. The nature is beautiful just 1 hour driving and the mountain are amazing, hotel confortable and very cheap

I stayed here for 40 days and it is now my favourite city. Amazing weather, nature, food, people, music, nightlife, beach, hiking, and so affordable! I didn't feel unsafe at any time, although I was recommended to avoid certain parts of the city late at night (but this is like any big city tbh...). Overall 11/10 rating :) agreed with other review regarding cheap uber - it's amazing!

I live here with my girlfriend close to Santa Cruz now for around 1 year. We lived before in Alicante and Gran Canaria. Lots to discover if you like Hiking or Surfing. Nomad scene is here with a couple of Meetups and Activities if you look for it. It's relative cheap compare to West Europe. Food is difficult to find Restaurants what you can eat well. Pros: Weather always perfect even in winter It's an Island, so there are many beaches 2 Airports with many flights all over Europe Fresh Frui

A nice quite city, full of statuses!, The place can be visited within a week at max, would recommend Ohrid next to visit

Not safe for women? I feel very safe here and walk late at night from the train station. Like any town, there are the gypsies and drunks but no, no real problems.

The city of Dallas has captivated me to an extent that I never will find another place so memorizing to live in, with all the opportunities and amenities present.

I've moved here permanently. Kids are in an elite school for $600pm, and I'm the only non-Colombian parent. I'm surprised there aren't more foreigners. Going to Gringo Tuesdays is a very touristy thing, I only ever went once everyone is 25 and trying to get laid basically, and its P$11,000 a beer, my local pub sells beer for $P2,000 by comparison. I have lived in Madison for many years and have mixed feelings about it. It is a very clean and green city, and hospitable to bicyclists. There are many parks and nature centers and an abundance of restaurants serving all varieties of cuisine. There is quite a bit to do here, and Madison is also close enough to Milwaukee for day trips to explore. I went to Valencia for a week and I will never go there again. As a black person, the racism there could be felt in my bones. On top of this, it was extremely boring. I went in November, so maybe this is why it was boring. However, the architecture of the city is old and did not inspire me. First place I visited where I was ready to leave after 3 days.

Very quiet city, beautiful architecture and near the ocean and beaches. People are really nice, and there are a lot of restaurants & activities to choose from. It's easier if you speak french or arabic. Don't recommend if you don't want to learn these languages.
