Heyy! We're slow-traveling together with my partner and we'd love to meet other nomads to hang out with and discover nature! I'm a marketing manager at Single.Earth (saving the world! ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒ) and Thom is a writer. I'm from Estonia, he's from UK. Cheers! ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ช

One of my fave cities Iโ€™ve lived in. * perfect combination of โ€œbigโ€ city and nature vibe * lots of activities: restaurants, museums, open air cinema etc * nature in town: the freaking mountain in the middle of the city that they just casually call a park, PLUS the long seaside (Iโ€™m a seaside girl) * outside of city: a quick bus ride to countless mountain paths or rent a car and go to close or further away places -> Split is chill and full of action at the same time ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Iโ€™m not 100% sure on the coliving/coworking spaces and how good the nomad social life is in here (randomly had my friends here most of the 3 months) -- Spend two months: * One month near Bacvice beach (nothing beats a 2 min walk to go swimming) * Then 1 month on the other side from old town, 1 min from Split viewpoint (belvedere), so right on the mountain side (nothing beats having the sea&mountain top 15min walk away)

Skradin

Croatia

We went for a weekend to go to Krka, 100% recommend staying overnight in the city and taking the entrance that starts from Skaradin: the walk to the Krka waterfalls was an experience alone already with the amazing views. In on-season time it should be fine, we stayed off-season in a hotel room, all the restaurants were shut and we didnโ€™t have a kitchen, so look out for that ๐Ÿ˜‚

Zadar is AMAZING. We stayed in old town and it's so pretty, loved the evening walks by the sea. Two weeks were enough for me tho, we then went to Split and spend two months there. :)

Zagreb was cool * Very big city vibe, tons going on * No sea and it gets proper hot in the summer and no natural places to really swim in I think (heard tons of people try to flee Zagreb in summer months  ) * Whatโ€™s awesome is that you can take a bus/cab ride to the start of the mountain trails, so donโ€™t need to rent a car * Iโ€™m just a seaside girl, thatโ€™s why itโ€™s not my no1 ๐Ÿ˜Š

I quite liked Zagreb. People are fairly warm, and it's charmingly laid out. Lots of good cafes and restaurants, and the center is pretty walkable. As someone else said there are the commie block vibes, but those are in more peripheral neighborhoods. I felt it was safe, and had no issues getting around by tram mostly. As someone mentioned there is definitely the traditional Southern European cafes are for socializing, not working kind of vibe but still a decent number had wifi and didn't bat an e

Beautiful old town and waterfront, but as soon as you leave them it becomes a post-Communist dump. I've had very good internet in airbnbs, and it's quite affordable if you live like a local.

Summers in Tallinn are very pleasant (if not the best, tbh). There is no need for a car or a bus to move from one point to another in the city center. I've been working in Maakri area, which is local City. Really loved my time here, especially variety of quality food options available. My favourite upscale place to eat was FARM restaurant, which is a gem of a resto located in the beginning of Tallinn's Old Town. The restaurant is also the only provence style restaurant in the country, according
