A dabbling nomad. Currently working a temporary job in the states before hopping overseas. I like to experience places through people, food & walking/biking/doing.

Vaiano was home base a Tuscan villa on the hillside where we could relax & stay or leave & explore. Bother were done. This place had incredible hosts, they would chill with us poolside & we took an amazing cooking class in their 1,000 year old basement.

Another adventure to get here. Took a fancy charter bus from Quepos, a chicken bus Palmar Sur to Sierpe, & a river ferry from Sierpe to Bahia Drake. Met some cool people who weather out the off season. Another spot I'd like to return to...

Was a trip making it here, plane to San Jose, bus across the country, the off season was awesome & also made for quite the adventure. Stay in Manuel Antonio was awesome, recommend staying off the beaten path, explore often & keep an eye out for crocodiles.

It's a safe area of Mexico, and also even the people who try to sell you crap, 'vendors' is less aggressive here. I have done about 2.5 months total in PV (two separate trips). Airbnbs are plentiful near the centro and december 5, more expensive in the romantic zone and even more expensive in Sayulita. But central PV is pretty cheap, even inland from Hotel Zone is nice and cheap. Roads and walkways are narrow and horrible. Internet is OK. If you stay in PV central, the beach isn't so great for s

Small area/beach, claustrophobic. I think enough to do entertainment wise. Just expensive due the mass amounts of CA residents/expats/business owners, wifi is also weak unless you are at a top place like Sayulita Hotel. Surf break is essentially one peak and crowded, the locals don't really share it. One week tops here.

A top city. Everything works, beautiful greenery (hehe), cycling everywhere, happy people, great nightlife... Lots to love about. For nomads? Not a chance. Price of housing is outrageous, and the city is expensive af. They charge you 4.5-5 eur for a capuccino, completely shameless. An hour of public transport is 3 euros. I could go on and on. Chiang Mai used to be N.1 for the digital nomad life. It is still great and you can find really cheap apartments (300-400$) and restaurants (2-3$ for a main). Wouldn't recommend staying there during the burning season. The best area is Nimman, but it's also the most expensive. You can stay in the old city that's very nice but that gets noisy during the weekend for the night markets. Last but not least, very safe city. All in all would go back in a heartbeat.

Don't believe the prices on here for an apartment. 686 usd/month refers to an apartment in a high class condo, right in the city centre and seconds away from the BTS(train station). Just remember this, people working at supermarkets make 2 usd/per hour. If you want to live like a local, then you can save a lot of money. If you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk from the BTS, then you can easily get a one bedroom apartment for 300 USD per month, in a high class condo, plus with free golf cart ser
