One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Nişantaşı, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Boring :-( Here for 2.5 months in summer. Puerto was supposed to be a nomad city, but I can't seem to meet them. Just 1-2 meetups that only 5+ people come to. A lot of lower middle class tourists. Santa Cruz has more to offer. La Laguna is nice for a day trip, but kinda dead too. Yes, there's beautiful nature and hikes, but people/community/city-wise not impressed at all.
