Medellin is a very nice place! Good options of restaurants, hotels and places to hangout. En EL Poblado you have a good variety of bars and places to hangout. At Medellin i worked from the hotel and from a famous shopping mall (EL TESORO) witch has dedicated places, with very good structure os desks, chairs and wi fi for digital nomads (Nómadas Espacio de Coworking).

I have only been to a couple of digital nomad spots around the world, but I must say I have been disappointed with PDC for several reasons. I am a coworking space kind of girl and even though there are a few here, they are all not great. Especially if you compare them to the spaces in Bali Canggu/Ubud for example. In PDC it was all about choosing the lesser „evil“ for me. They are okay, but I didn‘t feel the same community vibes or very inspired in these places. The choices of healthy foo

  • Madrid

Favorite city in the entire world and honestly people who prefer Barcelona to it just simply did not do Madrid right. This city has everything you could possibly want in a city (besides a beach of course). So safe, amazing transportation all over the city and country, amazing location to travel easily and cheaply to the rest of Europe. Restaurant and nightlife scenes are unparalleled as someone else said in another comment. Did you know Madrid has more bars per capita than anywhere in the world?

  • Cali

Cali has beautiful weather and kind, friendly people. You will need to use Spanish here so it is a great place to learn. Locals are very patient with novice speakers. The city has many green spaces and weekend travel to the Pacific region and Coffee country is possible as well as inexpensive flights to other major cities in Colombia. Salsa is king here so it is worth taking lessons, as this is a major part of the city's nightlife. You can live quite cheaply here but expect foreign or imported fo

Sao Paulo is a place of high contrasts. Massive buildings, roads, and road rage co-exist with peaceful parks, fantastic skies, and very kind locals. Before you go, make sure you have the right expectations because this place is the South American equivalent of LA or NYC. It is absurdly different from Rio as far as the activities and landscape. Some of my favorite things are the 20,000+ restaurants and bars, people watching (more contrast), free art museums and attractions, and the fantastic co-w

Copenhagen is way too expensive. I have lived there for quite some time and although it's has this semi-hipster vibe, it still feels like a big village. It's miserable in the winter because it's so windy and went. There are much better and cheaper options, plus the people can be hard to relate to.

I was here for a month. Rio is a beautiful and vibrant city. There's a lot of icons to see. There's great food and the beach is right there. In my, experience the pandemic hasn't impacted the city much. Bars and clubs are still open. I usually go out to Leblon, Ipanema, Lapa, and Barra da Tijuca. However, it can definitely be a dangerous city if you're being careless. About 10% of the people I've met had an incident there. I was mugged once walking home one night after the clubs in Ipanema, an

I live here in Dublin and I disagree you should stay in Ballymun or Finglas. These places are dangerous. Very. Mobile operator Three is terrible. Vodafone tends to be a bit more expensive but to support your work it is the only one I recommend. Dublin and the whole of Ireland is charming and fun. It is not cheap. You will not regret coming over.
