Hello, I’ve been earning online for the past 2 years and had no need to incorporate. But now I’m applying for a citizenship and one of the requirements is that I own a business that pays myself a dividend income. I make money in USD and get paid through a personal US bank account. I’m NOT a US citizen or resident. Been living as a tourist in many places for 2 years. I’m looking at Belize and Panama but not sure what it might entail? In terms of money logistics, I’m not understanding how that would work? Anyone has experience in this?

tl;dr: introduce yourself in this thread.
We must all get sick of the same backpacker travel questions when we meet new friends, I know I do.
You know the ones - where are you from, where’ve you been, where are you going, what do you do, how long have you been doing it - etc.
The novelty of answering these questions wears off after maybe a week, but they’re nonetheless insightful and no matter how much we hate them, we find ourselves asking others.
So let’s bring the dreaded backpacker questionnaire to NomadForum and introduce ourselves shall we?
**
- what’s your name?
- where are you from?
- how long have you been away from home?
- what do you do?
- where are you currently?
- where are you going?
- what has been memorable for you so far?
- will you go home anytime soon?
- what have you learnt during your time as a nomad?
- [insert your own question here]
**
No need to answer them all if you don’t want to
But the more you share… The merrier!
I’m having trouble trying to create a nice and serious relationship. I’m not saying I want a wife, I just want a committed, supportive and loving relationship. However I’m finding out that, at least in my “expanded” social circle in my home country, not many women have this burning desire of growing as a person, impacting the world through their actions, traveling… basically very few people have big goals and dreams. I guess it’s the stigma of a ‘third-world country’. (Mexico).
I would love someone to travel with, that is as accomplished or even more accomplished that I am, that teaches me stuff as I can teach her, etc. The question is summarized in the title: How do you create a lasting and serious relationship when you’re always traveling, having this crazy idea that you can change the world?
I remember a friend mentioned at a DN meetup that a “dating site for DN” would not work out exactly for the same ‘traveling nature’ of DNs, but now thinking deeply about this, maybe I’m not the only one and such a site might provide some value.
What do you think? Thanks!
Hello, I’m a freelance designer from the Philippines. I was just wondering if there were any digital nomads who aren’t American/European/Australian/Canadian/etc. How do you deal with visa issues? Or do you just stick to countries where you don’t need visas? Are there any other challenges that you have because of your country of origin?
