I live in Timisoara since 2 years. It's a good place , very cheep and quiet. during summer this year a lot of festivals and cultural events. I love the weither, cold in winter but not so munch just under zero degré like minus 5 maybe 1 week or two, and very hot in July. A lot of sun anyway all the year. The food is excellent . Very beautiful and atmospheric city, but firstly it's very expensive to stay in Venice itself (even in winter, I thought rent prices are on the level with Zurich lol) so many people rent a place/hostel in Mestre, it's like 10 minutes train ride to Venice, kinda smarter. And after a while navigating the city which is literally a maze becomes quite old. Recommend to visit Murano by the way.
