Just moved to Glasgow a year ago. Yes, weather is humid, grey, rainy, everyday (almost). BUT the people are great, the city is full of charm and vibrant. It is very authentic and doesn't have many tourists. The accent is awesome. It's cheaper than most important cities in UK. The post-industrial style is so interesting too ! I 'm in love with Glasgow.

  • Antalya

Antalya is becoming more and more popular for digital nomads because of great city life, amazing nature (sea + mountains), a great beach park right in the center, a walkable and bicycle-friendly center, multiple international connections from its international airport (that also has a tramway to the center of the city for around $0,50), cheap prices for a high quality of life. And Turkey is of course famous for being very hospitable and offering tasty food! We need some options for coworking spaces but I'm sure there will be many soon. Antalya is my favorite city in Turkey so far :)

A really gross town, to be honest. Walking in the streets felt unsafe and borderline aggressive. Animals, homeless people, and trash as far as the eye could see. Beach was nice, though literally no females wear bathing suits, so my girlfriend felt wildly uncomfortable. Wifi was eh at our AirBnB and the cafes/restaurants we went to. The Hassan II mosque is really incredible, but otherwise, I'd never ever come back here.

  • London

I have been living in London for over 2 years as a student. It's ridiculously expensive. However, there are options. What I like about the city is you can find many events anytime you want. It's active all year 24/7. There are so many foreigners and tourists which make the living more vibrant and less racist. London has sub-communities which I think is a good thing. Those communities bring their cultures, ethics and foods. Public transportation and restaurants are great. I used to spend 3-4 hours in Costa or Nero cafe without interruptions. Though if it's raining or summer season it could be hard to stay long. On the negative side, the UK suffers from slow and old bureaucracies making life difficult sometimes. It's not easy to open a bank account or to rent. The government systems are slow. Also, you will feel depressed in winter when the sunset is before 4pm and the temperature is 0c. All in all, everything is great about the city except the affordability and the winter.
