I've actually been to 40+ countries and lived in 3. But that's all too much to fully fill out, so filled 2018 onwards.

Ooof. I'm Noah. Noah doesn't plan. Noah got stuck here after the last ferry after paying a taxi driver to drive for 4 hours, then had to stay in 1 of 2 hotels in the entire city. It was very rough and sketchy. Don't be like Noah.

  • Panama City

Panama reminds me of the booming southeast asian capitals of bangkok, singapore, manila or kuala lumpur, filled with condos and malls. It is clean, the weather is warm but not humid. Internet speed is fast and reliable, all the conveniences of the city is available here. But aside from that, theres not much else to do here unless you enjoy the malls, eating out and going to the pubs. The only thing that you need to get used to is the roads do not have pedestrian lanes, although cars always prior

Don't believe the prices on here for an apartment. 686 usd/month refers to an apartment in a high class condo, right in the city centre and seconds away from the BTS(train station). Just remember this, people working at supermarkets make 2 usd/per hour. If you want to live like a local, then you can save a lot of money. If you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk from the BTS, then you can easily get a one bedroom apartment for 300 USD per month, in a high class condo, plus with free golf cart ser

One of the most horrendous cities I've ever been to. Too much traffic, ugly architecture and even the food is very much hit and miss. Oh and housing is not that cheap. People can range from very friendly to very much not caring but on average, they're neither unfriendly nor easy to connect with, even if you speak good Spanish. More than anything, from someone used to the lively vibe in Colombia or Mexico, the place is as lively as a cemetery. No music, not even a peep at night... There's a reaso

High speed internet in Fes, Morocco ? Yes, it' possible. Visit Café Clock, on rue Talaa Kebira (actually its located on a small street perpendicular to Talaa Kebira, simply look for the sign) We've been on the hunt to find high speed internet in Fes and the only place we've find is this great restaurant/cafe. Internet speed was between 40mbs and 101mbs. A few electric plugs and a very nice menu (finally a place serving other things than tagine or couscous) Delicious vegan options, fresh juices

Paris is wonderful, and I love it here, but the stereotypes some real truth to them. I stepped off the plane to a protest, my airbnb host was incredibly stylish yet didn't wear deoderant, and I met the rudest waiter I've ever encountered in my entire life on day 3 (though most Parisians are super nice!)

A great place to be. Excellent price/quality ratio. You can easily find everything needed to work: coworking, sim (you can eg use Airalo). There is a plenty of things to do in the city and around it. Food is dirt cheap and delicious. It can be trashy and sometimes touristy but that didn't cause problems for me.

I spent 4 months working here during summertime. It's one of the best summers I have ever had in my life. The city is just amazing and offers dozens of outdoor activities. There are so many different places such as parks, lakes, hills, mountains, beaches, etc. Also, you can feel the Californication vibe on every step. I lived in Hollywood and I would avoid this place at any cost. It's just too overrated and won't meet your expectations. Hollywood (esp. West Hollywood) is a big pile of dirtiness

Incredible city for nomads. In autumn/winter you'll have to deal with the cold, but there's still stuff going on. - Using the tram and uber was rare. Stay in Kazimierz or Stare Miasto and you get anywhere interesting in

  • Prague

I visited Prague on more than one occasion and tried something new each time. I really wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of my least favourite cities. Perhaps it was just me, but there was an overwhelming sense of distrust and dislike towards foreigners, you have to try pretty hard to blend in if you want to experience the life of a local & avoid the tourism. I met some wonderful people and and there’s some cool communities to be part of, but another extended stay

  • Tulum

Everything is for American tourists. Prices are sometimes even higher than in the US. Beach is beautiful, there's nothing to do downtown. Cenotes, archaeological zone are cool, worth a visit. Covid is like it doesn't exist. Internet was cool in Selina. Cool to stay for a couple of nights of chilling, but not for living.

The numbers are completely false here. 1br studio rent in center for $87? That's impossible. You gotta pay at least $300 for a crappy studio. The new and the modern ones is probably around $500-600.
