It's getting better. I came here just before the Chinese New Year, and the city was very lively. Lots of people, live music, etc. The decorations in the shopping mall were beautiful, and there were so many food options that it would take a year to try them all.

Buenos Aires is great in every aspect. Most people are nice, friendly, open minded and educated. Food, transportation, nightlife and shops... excellent. Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Athens is a fantastic city. Locals are friendly and food is fantastic. There isn't a huge amount to do, but for a short stay it's definitely worth the visit.

It used to be a nice city for nomads, but its out-priced now and don't recommend it. I am a single female- remote worker from USA with residence permit of 2 years and have to say its not what it used to be. Stormy tropical weather as we speak so unpredictable these days. I arrived on December 31 at night, I went out to celebrate New Year's and a friendly man invited me to a beer, we went to a shitty bar and he wanted to bring prostitutes to the table so I left after 5 minutes of entering . The staff at the bar asked me for $2000 Turkish liras to leave. I went to the police and they told me that I should not trust anyone in this City.
