I’m working remotely and since it’s war in Ukraine I was living in Istanbul for half of year, after moving to Dubai i realised it’s not much more expensive here in Dubai. And besides that no one is cheating me like it was happening non stop in Istanbul

This city doesn't deserve to be ahead of cities like Da Nang or Chiang Mai. Still way to underdeveloped. Yes a lot of coffees for wifi but dirty and overall not great conditions for nomads. You'll not find almost any nomads there. I would skip it.

It is more expensve than expected. Depending whete you live, streets can be dirty. It seems the government only uses the tax money to invest in the high en areas. Thwre are is a lot of inequality. People are very racist. I am Mexican, and the first thing people ask me here, is whete do I come from. I have never felt as discriminated as here and to be honest I dont think I have it as bad as other people.

I have spend a few days in Da Nang in January and its one of the only cities in Vietnam, I absolutely couldnt find aything positive about. It felt dead to me. Almost no people there and it feels like the city doesnt have a soul. I would even go so far to say the city is the only place in Asia that made me feel unformfortable. Cant recommend it. Furthermore i got a food poisoning there. So the overall experience wasnt good.

Lived in Phuket for a year now. Amazing place, especially the Bang Tao area. The further you go up north, the more beautiful it gets. Amazing beaches, beach clubs, restaurants and people. Patong is nice for a few days, but if you're not into partying just stay away. A lot of police check on the roads around Patong (and accidents), so always bring your international license. You can make it as expensive (or cheap) as you want, if you eat local like I do a meal is around 60 - 120 baht. Stay away

I've been here 2 years now. I pay for internet at 3 seperate places (home, office, 2nd apartment on seaside) I pay about $20 USD / month for 300Mbps/300Mbps at each of the 3. Internet here is super cheap, reliable and fast.

I spent around 3 months in this city. Pros: - beautiful city (arquitecture- WOW)!! -Not so cold in winter -Lovely people Cons: It gets VERY HOT!! The summer is insanely hot and I could never live all year round in Seville. Conservative vibe Very dry climate.

I loved Medellín. Was there for 5 weeks. Beautiful views of the mountain, warm, trees, coffee, cafe shops and chocolate. The men are very good looking as well. The food is ok but not bad. I got hit on a lot as a foreign woman. The only downside might be the touristy nature of el pablado and the crime and prostitution aspects. Other than that, I am really Look forward to coming back!

Saigon has things going for it—great food, beautiful French architecture, interesting history, steady development, and nice enough people. But overall, the vibes are mediocre. Málaga is great. I don't agree on the comment that says it is not used to digital nomads, the person hasn't made a proper research. There are a lot of hostels, amazing night life, people are very cool and respectful, young people know English, and it has lots of COWORKING areas, even in banks. Bali for grownups. It's perfectly safe. I could walk in 95% areas of Floripa at night with my phone taken out without any feeling of danger. Safer than Rio, for sure. All types of water sport and hikes are available here, so it's a good place for people who are into nature. Place isn't very trendy and service sometimes isn't that good but it's getting there. Amazingly calm and chill place. I loved it here. It still has a lot of peaceful roads to drive around on your motorbike. It feels like you're driving through the jungle a lot. The food quality is great here, a lot of organic options, because the Ubud hippies apparently all moved here in 2020 COVID and it shows. Great nature around. Very calm and silent place overall. High recommendation. Could see myself living here for longer!

Overall, highly recommnded for the fall/spring. Great weather, food, wines and hikes. There are really nice coffeshops (currently writing from one, "The coffee place"). Internet is Ok, but check the accommodation before. Right now there is a lot of anti-sentiment for Russia, so consider that if you're from there.

Madeira feels like a bubble, excessively priced and lacking value. In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in homelessness and drug addicts on the streets. Certain parts of the old town are unsafe to walk at night. Expect to pay nearly Amsterdam-level prices for apartments. I loved the sunsets. They were breathtaking by the water. Internet was spotty and difficult to find good coworking spaces and cafes with reliable wifi. Had to leave one airbnb due to wifi. As a woman, I was often sexually harassed with men hitting on me and not respected me when I declined. One even said to me "no sometimes means yes when i declined to go back home with him after a drink". This was more sexual harrasment than anywhere I've ever visited in the world. Semiyak was my refuge from the crazy traffic, massive western crowds, mosquito attacks, and inflated prices of Canggu. Seminyak is not 'Balifornia' (Canguu), some will like it for that reason alone.
