✨ Recommended destinations they haven't been
This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @tomjamesdj's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.

I love BA! And I wanted to say that you can use Visa card and get the "blue" dollar rate, that's been happening for one year now. Also you can withdraw and change money in WU at a good rate. You won't have a problem with paying by card in most of the places.

Penang is really, really hot and humid. It's pretty affordable but it's relatively small. Personally, I think traveling Penang is great because you have a mix of cultures but I couldn't stay here for a longer time because it is so unbelievable hot.

The stats are stats are super misleading and the reviews here as well. Locals are staring to recent digital nomads for the rise of housing prices and for it not paying taxes. It is really unfortunate, but I am let down by this city and the people. The only reason this city is popular is because all the single male wanting to go to parties and passport bros, if you are a female digital nomad you won’t feel any of this because most people that go there are male and are the ones causing the probl

Athens is a fantastic city. Locals are friendly and food is fantastic. There isn't a huge amount to do, but for a short stay it's definitely worth the visit.

We stayed in Munich for 2 weeks, and more specifically, we were in Dachau. Amazing city that is very clean, safe, and full of history. Dachau has a lot to offer as well, so I recommend staying a bit further out and take the train to the city center. The English garden is a fantastic place to surf, swim, layout, walk, bike, or have a picnic. I will definitely come back here!

I only stayed for 3 weeks cause the life is kind of boring compared to Tokyo or Osaka. It helps a lot if you speak some korean since not many people speak english and most restaurants don't have english menu. The internet is fast but the public transportation is always crowded.

It used to be a nice city for nomads, but its out-priced now and don't recommend it. I am a single female- remote worker from USA with residence permit of 2 years and have to say its not what it used to be. Stormy tropical weather as we speak so unpredictable these days. Landlords charging ridiculous prices and amenities just don't match quality that should be given. Looking into Spain as we speak..

Overall, highly recommnded for the fall/spring. Great weather, food, wines and hikes. There are really nice coffeshops (currently writing from one, "The coffee place"). Internet is Ok, but check the accommodation before. Right now there is a lot of anti-sentiment for Russia, so consider that if you're from there.

Husband and I spent one month here, and we didn’t like it, at all! There is a lot of litter and graffiti everywhere!!!! The entire city needs a good power wash. I think that due to the volume of transitant people who live here, not much effort is put in to make it nicer. It’s a shame because there are some really nice buildings and neighborhoods that would be lovely if there was some care put into them. Unfortunately, it’s all dirty and run down. My husband and I want to move to Makati but our decision really depends on how good the internet services are when working from home in a condo either in Makati or BGC. He will be on zoom meeting and calls pretty much all day. Would the internet be good enough without too much interruptions? What would be the best internet service provider? Thank

I'm staying in BGC as I write this, and so far PH most aggressively mediocre place I've travelled to in Asia. While I'm used to free/cheap wifi, friendly people, and great food living in place like Thailand, even staying in the most modern area in the country lacks all of those (no free Wifi even at Starbucks, and I've seen "cooked fresh" restaurant food taken out of the freezer before cooking). Social culture is very uncanny valley, people are "polite" but it's extremely fake, which you'll noti

I find it difficult to understand what people see in this city. The cost to benefit ratio is just so terribly bad! This is by far the most expensive city in Europe (especially in terms of rent), with hardly anything to offer in comparision with other cities like Barcelona, Lisbon or Warsaw. The weather is just average, with cold and windy winters and mediocre summers. It's difficult to come by restaurants that offer anything other than Indian fast food for a decent price - most places are just u

Great for tourism, bad for living. The City has a fascinating contrast of old and new. You will never get bored, it’s easy to meet people and have fun. Infrastructure and food are great. Thai people are friendly and welcoming, even when it not always feels genuine. With that said, it’s not a good city for long term living. It’s too hot and humid. Felt air temperature is between 37°C-45°C almost year round during the day. It’s makes all outdoor activity unpleasant. Getting your daily d

Was here in Mid-2023. Bali has completely changed from when I last visited in 2017. Full of arrogant influences and degenerate party people who are entitled and have no respect for the locals. Many Uber drivers told me they are starting to get annoyed because a lot of Westerners don’t respect anything…. Pollution and traffic are on the rise. It is turning into Kuta. Probably one of the least walkable places, forget walking on the sidewalk unless you want to get taken out. A lot of accidents

How did SF get scored #98 on Nomad score? I agree with most of the reviews posted here. I generally work from home, but we recently rented a small conference room for a meeting. It was $250 per hour.. (yes Per Hour... no typos here).
