Great place for Digital Nomads :) Fast internet, many Co-working spaces and beautiful views around - rice fields, jungle, palms :) Oh, yeah! One of the best place in the World to work remotely!

My opinion to this person is: - Please go home and be happy and cheerful! Donโt live at โmiserable and depressed (โฆ) populationโ home. - If youโre only use to eat potatoes + burgers, us, as the rest of the world, we have that too. - Please post your photo, so Portuguese women know from whom they must running from. โPros: - Plenty of great co-working spaces - Lots of digital nomads - Meetups, tech and crypto conferences Cons: - Everything is severely overpriced from food to rents (

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

If you're physically active, CM is paradise 9 months out the year. Like many, I live here, but fly to Phuket from Mid Feb to Mid May to escape the burning season. The rest of the year, the weather is fine: about 1h of strong rain a day from May to September, then September to December is awesome with cold air in the morning and evenings, and just right warm during the day. In CM, you have unlimited landscape for: Trekking, Mountain Biking, Cycling, Road Trips on scooter or motorcycle (some of

Hong Kong is a great city with dense urban areas but also nature and hiking routes only 15 minutes away. There are restaurants for every taste and budget, from the best US fast casual chains to high end Michelin star restaurants. It's also extremely safe, despite recent political instability.

I've been in Phuket for about a month now. Most of that time I've spent in Ka Ron and Kata beach area, but also have been to Chalong, Pa Tong, Rawai, and Kathu. Karon and Kata beaches are my favorite. Beaches are beautiful, especially Karon. Overall most everything is reasonably priced, but not the bargain I was told it is. I eventually found a hotel I like, where I pay 12-13 euro per night (below 500 baht atm) and that is by far the lowest I found for the quality I expect. Considering the loc

There's no reason to live in this city. I spent a year here. The weather is not even a bit nicer compared to central-eastern Europe. Maybe when it's -4 degrees in Budapest, it's +1 in Barcelona. That's just as cold. And the insulation in apartments is practically non-existent, as well as AC and heating. If there's heating in an apartment, using it for like 3 hours/day would cost $100 a month. Speaking of apartments, pricing is ridiculous. $1500 + utilities for a 2 bedroom in a neighborhood where

One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Niลantaลฤฑ, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

Summers in Tallinn are very pleasant (if not the best, tbh). There is no need for a car or a bus to move from one point to another in the city center. I've been working in Maakri area, which is local City. Really loved my time here, especially variety of quality food options available. My favourite upscale place to eat was FARM restaurant, which is a gem of a resto located in the beginning of Tallinn's Old Town. The restaurant is also the only provence style restaurant in the country, according

Florence is one of the most beautiful city in the world! Here you have the opportunity to taste real genuine, fresh and organic food and experience great wines (such a Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Bolgheri Sassicaia, Ornellaia and much more) ! Think that Italy is the only country in the world where each region produce a different kind of wine with different kind of local grapes. It is a real bless for palate. Italians are friendly and locals even more. Almost e

Just visited Vienna for the second time and I figured that it would be worth writing a review about. Things I liked: - The architecture, as others have mentioned, is really beautiful - Food/cafes are also really good. I recommend trying options in Leopoldstadt, where the choices were better (IMO) than the city center. Fromme Helene is close to the city hall and great for Schnitzel, strรผdel, etc. - Efficient public transport, though it can take a few days to get used to if you're from a sma

Antalya has been growing so much as a DN destination... There are events and meetups every day of the week. Most of them centered around Coworking Antalya. They solved the problem of inspiring workspace with their facilities right in the center of town with an extraordinary sea view. Pros: Friendly people, safe, stable government, efficient and fast public transportation, established foreigner (gaijin) population due many English teachers, many great food options, many festivals (cherry blossom fest), onsens! Cons: Expensive, work til you die at your desk mentality, drunken businessman culture, groping on packed public transit, lack of mental health services so be cautious around the destitute, over sexualization of underage females, high risk if caught with illegal substan

Sitting here laughing out loud at these "been here a few week" reviews where supposedly they could tell it all. You guys obviously don't know the right places, you probably ended up around lower Sukhumvit (with all the mention about hookers and lbs). Don't listen to any of this. I've lived around SEA for 10+ years. Nearly 8 of them in Bangkok. There is a reason I keep coming back. Just returned to Europe from spending three weeks in Canggu and I can definitely not recommend it. It has changed a lot from the past but to sum it up here are some points: Pros: - high level of convenience - lots of places to eat (for vegans too) - plenty to do Cons - hygiene is bad - crowded as fuck - polluted as hell (air quality is bad) Wouldn't recommend coming here for longer.
