I never had any issues. Just don’t hold your phone out by the street or in a tuk tuk. If you need to use it, step well off the street or into a shop etc. they will use bikes to snatch phones and run.

Otherwise just use normal common sense about areas and people.

Also similar advice with bags. If walking around with a backpack on make sure you’re using both shoulder straps as it’s easy to get snatched if you just have it on one shoulder.

As Tony said just use the same common sense you’d use in any other city and you’ll be fine. I’ve always enjoyed walking around PP at night.
