Hi All, I'll arrive across the pond to London in sept and really wanted to come to Croatia, but since I'm trying to save money for a large purchase I need to keep it reasonable and just about hit the floor when I saw what was on Airbnb and booking/combined hotels. Any recommendations? Go elsewhere? I had been under the impression Croatia was very reasonable.

it is still very reasonable. of course depending of what your expectations for โ€œreasonableโ€ are.
but also to consider itโ€™s high season in europe and especially in germany (summer holidays). and croatia is one of the main targets for for us sweaty fatties.

It's getting more expensive, but I would recommend that you go to Istra.....if you're nto the seaside and avoiding the tourists ....
