How’s the (private) parking situation in Prague if you have a car? Is it like in Barcelona where you can find private paid parking at almost every corner?

If you are long-term resident, you can get a parking card which allows you to park basically anywhere in the city for a reasonable monthly fee.
If you are a visitor, you can pay for parking in the street (possibly free after 7pm in some places) or use the cheap, underground mall parkings.

Yes, but if you live in the center of Prague, owning a car is not necessarily relevant. Trams and Metro go everywhere, and the center is small enough that you can walk anywhere.

Hey 👋 I’ve lived here since March. It’s a lot more expensive than it used to be, and really depends on where you live in Prague. If you’re frugal I’d say you can get by on $800-1000 USD per month. Thats assuming rent of 8-10k CZK ($350-450 USD) for a room in a flatshare and the rest for all other expenses.
