I love food in Estonia. Generally itโ€™s about good quality post-Soviet food.
I found it one of the best organized post-Soviet countries as well. Rather friendly attitude from people and good service in restaurants
I lived in Tallinn old town for two months and another month just outside of it
Hey anyone else here on a digital nomad visa and stayed beyond the 183 days?
hi fzrlsaiioxga were you able to move to Estonia?

I've also applied for Startup visa for my SaaS startup but got rejected. :( hoping to apply again later
Iโ€™m back home in Estonia in July-August if someone wants to meet a local who is also a nomad ๐Ÿ™‚ Will be both in Tartu and Tallinn
Also if anyone has questions/problems Iโ€™m always happy to help! Even if Iโ€™m not in Estonia myself ๐Ÿ˜Ž
uldpzrxycetaepcu and lknuqzpwoe I see youโ€™re in Tallinn, let me know if you want to meet! ๐Ÿ™‚ My bf would join too, heโ€™s British
Hey sprnbonvvnooa I'd be happy to meet you two in Tartu. Maybe I can get qiytdzwuscvf to join as well. I'll be around the next two weeks before I set off on European ๐Ÿš travels.
Bad news, we just got info we have to quarantine in Estonia as we come through London. ๐Ÿ˜ž So Iโ€™d love to meet in Tallinn between 12-25.07 and in Tartu in August.. but then youโ€™re already gone ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
Dang... I have to be back for 2-3 weeks in August for my company's Summerdays and Tartu sTARTUp Day. I'll ping you then. Have a nice quarantine. ๐Ÿ˜…
Hey, Avely. I should be in Estonia next month. Iโ€˜m trying to start a life there. So, I would be happy to meet you and learn more about Tallinn, the way of life, cool neighbourhoods for potential living, and the like.
zldlagmzbdwzy jljkkibbwh I'll be in Tallinn in august/sept too, would be cool to meet the Estonian nomad gang ๐Ÿ˜„
That would be great! I'll ping you all when I'm back in Town.
Hiya! Iโ€™ll be traveling from mid August again (just home for a little while), but if you have any questions I can always try to help! ๐Ÿ˜Š feel
free to reach out what ever questions you have! ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ช
Oh, I have tons of questions. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here are just a few:

1. Whatโ€˜s the best neighbourhood for young people?
2. Whatโ€˜s the best Gym/Crossfit/Yoga centre around that neighbourhood?
3. Any interesting events that might be suitable for me as a potential expat?
4. How to best navigate around the city. Are there monthly bus/tram passes? Perhaps I can buy a second-hand bicycle easily?
By the way, Iโ€˜ve talked to your co-founder some months ago about your project. I still keep an eye on it.
I'm a Tallinn expert.
(1) Kalamaja, Kadriorg, or Uus Maailm are the best hoods. The city is tiny so it doesn't matter too much where you live.
(2) Reval Sport in old town is the most cost effective for monthly rate. My Fitness is a rip off. 24/7 fitness or Lemon are good if you just want a weight room.
(3) There is always something happening, ask around and they will point you to the right direction (I can connect you with people based on your interests).
(4) Walking or electric scooters. You only really need a bus/tram for going to Pirita, Kopli, or the airport. Again this town is tiny.

Ping me if you have any more specific questions. ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks a lot, Craastad. Iโ€˜m saving this message for future reference. ๐Ÿ™‚
Tere Hommikust! Iโ€™m Ben, and next weekend Iโ€™m flying out to Tallinn to start my digital nomad adventure. The plan is to try and spend a month in as many different countries as possible, so Iโ€™ll be in Estonia from the 31st until the 28th (then onto Riga).

Iโ€™m going to be based in the Kompassi area if anyone fancies meeting up for a drink, coffee, pizza, gym session. Iโ€™m a bit of a gymrat, so Iโ€™m looking at places like HC Gym, Spartaโ€ฆthe proper old school/meathead gyms rather than fancy chains. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Also wanting to take a road trip out to the Rummu quarryโ€ฆdo you think itโ€™s drivable by moped (something from rollercity) or best to hire a car?

Iโ€™d quite like to visit a shooting range one weekend too, and act like a skinner/paler version of Rambo.

Apart from that, just looking to have a general mooch about. Let me know if you wanna join in :)
2) there is aero yoga center, google "sky gravity", bot don't allow me to post links
Hi everyone, I'm Danila
I relocated to Estonia from Moscow by land border in May to work for Malwarebytes as iOS developer.
I live near Noblessner.
I like meeting people, climbing, surfing, hiking, photography, psychology, mindfulness and exploring around on my motorcycle.
I want to try my self in art in someway.
Because a lot of art with soul changed me in many ways including music, cinematography and other forms.
Also I'm here because I want to know more about nomad life, and job opportunities that would allow me to have more flexible lifestyle.
Text me if you want to meet.
Hey Danila, I'll drop you a message when I get into town, I'd love to see more of the artistic side of Tallinn
Hey, I missed completely :)
Yes, I would like to meet you folks)
I had to look up Kompassi. I had no idea those couple of blocks had a nam, lol. I would call that city center.

Car hire is easy in Estonia, look at Bolt Ride, Citybee, Elmo, or Autolevi (peer to peer).

FYI the weather will fall off a cliff sometime in September in Latvia.

I'll be around in mid-august for a few days, I'll try to gather the nomads then. Most of them take off by September for warmer places. ๐Ÿ˜„
Thanks for those car recommendations!

I think I'm prepped for the winter...I have a pre-packed "winter box" with some friends who are going to send it out to me when things get bad ๐Ÿ˜„ But I like the suggestion of heading off to warmer places now that you mention it ๐Ÿค”
