Hey guys! I'm from Tel Aviv and would be happy to provide some local advice on good spots to work from, sights to see, food not to be missed, nightlife, etc in this wonderful city! ๐Ÿ™‚
myzajmyc3mo
on that day that tlv would be popular nomad spot.. the messiah would come to earth P
uwztetpy3mo
haha tlv is for the rich nomads ๐Ÿ™‚
vetwxchrt3mo
Doesn't need to be a popular one ๐Ÿ™‚ I've actually been going to the least popular spots for nomads so far. You can definitely backpack Tel Aviv on a tighter budget if you stay in hostels and eat falafel and hummus for a few days ;)
lhtefpugp3mo
And work out of cafes or flexible co-working spaces which we have tons of

A hostel will cost ya about $17 USD - $30 USD depending on how much you're willing to compromise on comfort/cleanliness hehe.

Well I think even if you do so it still be quite expensive, but if you cook your own food and mostly eat vegetarian so than you can.. and ofc buy alcohol only from grocery store ๐Ÿ™‚ otherwise you be poor in a week ๐Ÿ™‚ and still i think it should cost atleast 1k$ for 1 month . but only for tlv ofc. if you go to haifa it can be half of it.. i think btw that haifa is way better for nomads than tlv. i actually been in haifa 1 month and i surprised how much cheap it is.. i rent a flat via airbnb in 600eur a month.. its really good price. and there is public transport in shabbat and restaurants and groceries that opened.
rdajax3mo
I might be going to Haifa soon!

hadar is the best area ๐Ÿ™‚ very divergent they have street name meseda, that full of cozy coffees and bars.. nice to be there with laptop but they not have much of sockets.. wework though is not very expensive there.. less than 200eur

TLV & israel in general gets a lot of backpackers so that might say something about the affordability of it. That being said backpackers only stay for periods of 4 - 14 days usually and maybe not as long as nomads might. It really depends if you wanna settle down there for months or just visit for a few weeks.
wbgffp3mo
that doesnโ€™t sound bad at all! are you based there now?
jhddoxjw3mo
no, in poland haha

My neighbor is a crazy man, and every Shabbat he and his wife stand just outside my window and shout as LOUD AS THEY CAN for money.
gffxda1mo
I feel bad for them, but I also get a headache in like 10 min, and they go on all fucking day
odoywqtdhb1mo
Why?
kamrsmbxty1mo
Why are they shouting for money?
pgvgxj1mo
They are shouting at any person who passes by
rbolpc1mo
I legit think itโ€™s a mental health issue
