I got an airbnb for about $25 a night
That seems to be average for a decent place

Also economy is pretty much cash only right now. Money is a little complicated here right now

how is it currently? are most of the shops still shutdown or did they reopen already?

lxnblmqal when you say cash do you mean USD or Lebanese pounds? Do the ATMs in Beirut still work so I can pull cash out when I get there?

Most ATMs work. Pull out USD always and then exchange. Btw taxi from airport should be $10-$15
I was ignorant arriving and got scammed into paying $35 and then turned into $45 for “driving me to an atm”
