Hey U05UU09G6FJ! Mauritius, being a little tropical island lost in the middle of the ocean, the vibe is definitely chill. It’s not Ibiza or the Caribbeans, and quieter than Bali too but very nice and easy to live. There is a huge expat community (French, South African and British mainly) and a growing nomad community. You can join the Digital Nomads Mauritius group facebook to get a feel of it. Locals are friendly and helpful and the island is super safe in general
