Where do you go after?

I went Friday evening from Cebu and left Monday morning so 3 nights. I guess if you spend time in each place and go check out smaller places as well then maybe you can extend your time there to 5 nights. I was kinda running through everything 😄

Both kinda diving and snorkeling hotspots around Cebu. Kawasan Canyoneering has been suggested to me many times, it's near Moalboal.

Hello anyone know anything about the wifi/internet situation in Philippines. On Nomadlist it says the internet/wifi is poor? I was thinking of going to Manilla/Ceba/Siargiao (I already know the internet in Siargiao is unreliable from a friend that lives there but details on the other two locations would be great)

It’s not easy but it’s doable. I’ve been working proficiently since three weeks. In Cebu City first, then Panglao, then Moalboal, now Santa Fe in Bantayan Island. In touristic areas more or less you can find a place with a “almost 100 Mb/s”.
Sim cards are a mess because some works on some Islands and not in other ones. For instance Dito for me worked well in Cebu and Bohol Islands, but in Bantayan coverage is zero, and I had to get a Smart sim. But they are so cheap that it’s not really a problem, it just needs some preparation.

Hi All, I booked a trip flying into manila and out of manila that's 60 days apart, do I need apply for a visa? I won't be staying in PH the entire 60 days, it says normally I can stay 30 days without applying for one from the US.

dfbabfx You don’t need to exit, just go to bureau of immigration to extend by 30days no need for a visa (depending on your country of origin, Canadian I don’t need)

I think inside the Powerplant Mall you have a couple of options. Also “Starbucks SM Jazz” has a nice upstairs seating area.

What's the mobile payment situation like in the Philippines? Is it still mostly cash-based? I'll be there for a month....

Credit card should work most of the time if you are in malls or established restaurants but it is still mostly cash based, like if you will be taking taxis, public transport, or buying from small shops. Gcash, a mobile payment app, is also widely used here in Manila but I am not sure if foreigners are allowed to have an account.

Doesn't answer your question, but victory Liner has a website where you can find their "first class" bus line to Baguio. Highly recommend, it's super fast (abt 4 hours if lucky) and they use modern buses :)

Anyone has advises for internet while on Siargao? It’s really not great during the rainy seasons as most places only use pre-paid 3g/LTE/4g mobile plans for their wifi. I’m using a coworking, and even here I get disconnected regularly.
