Tried too as in "I have attempted to vary where I stay in case I've missed something" and still come back to BB

They all have stable internet and all have a community to some extent. Yellow seems to be more crypto orientated, Punspace gets a mix (2 locations) but less organised activities (since COVID anyway), Alt is good but smaller, probably does the most regular group events but using the space is not required to go there.

If anyone has a sublet, wants to share an AirBnB in New York, or has any other ideas how I deal with this I'd be super grateful. It looks as though the best AirBnB option for my wife and I right now is basically double the price of the cancelation.

December is heavy rain season, not a good time to be a tourist, malaysia will be flooding. But if you just plan to work inside airbnb/mall, then you should be fine.

I got mine a year ago from Facebook marketplace. But I've also heard www.renthub.in.th/en/apartment/chiang-mai recommended. Use those to avoid AirBnB and access local prices. Fair warning they're usually for longer-term rentals.

Yeah, go to Bangkok Bank to open a Thai bank account. You don't need anything except a proof of address. Took me 2h to get it last year when I arrived to Thailand. Branch managers have a lot of leeway on whether to open it for you or not. That means if the first branch says no, just go to another office, and then another one until they say yes. The one in Nimman Chiang Mai are flexible and will approve you even on a Tourist Visa. They just asked me to prove that I actually live in Thailand, meaning I had to show them document from immigration that I rent a condo long-term.

Another thing I’ve just learned (not sure if this would be the case in Gran Canaria) People count on flats going very fast from the time they’re posted on Idealista. Eg. 4 days ago, I went to see an amazing loft in the centre of Barcelona. Probably the most incredible flat I’ve seen in BCN. But it was posted on Sep 24th to be rented on Oct 1. And it was. Meanwhile I have an Airbnb until the end of November, so it seems like I’m just wasting my time seeing flats right now unless I’m willing to have a long overlap between my Airbnb and my long term rental (ie. pay double rent for 2-4 weeks).

I've been working from Yellow for the last 5 weeks and I'm quite happy with the coworking. The main issue is its getting too busy and finding a seat can be a challenge for the first half of the day. I work very late so its not such a big issue for me.

Internet is great and its been stable except for very few minor issues. The staff are great and its good value for money especially since you get a free drink every day. They did recently up their prices because its become so busy.
