This island is wonderful ! I was there for a month and I fell in love with Curaçao. Just to rectify : The tap water is incredibly good to drink !! Anywhere you go you can drink tap water, even once I was in Daaibooi Beach which is 30 km away from the main city and I asked the guy at the snack bar to fill my bottle and the water was as nice as downtown !! It's a safe area of Mexico, and also even the people who try to sell you crap, 'vendors' is less aggressive here. I have done about 2.5 months total in PV (two separate trips). In summer season, temperature will 31°C, feels like 36 or more, humidity is 90% even at 28°C. Nearly impossible to to work without a good AC. In rainy season, temperature drops under 30 and air quality becomes just terrible, leaving a window open will leave your floor black. Lots of places to rent, but very hard to close a long term rent deal due to landlords unwilling to close a deal remotely (cash only). Long term rentals are much more affordable than airbnb.

I spent 4 months working here during summertime. It's one of the best summers I have ever had in my life. The city is just amazing and offers dozens of outdoor activities. There are so many different places such as parks, lakes, hills, mountains, beaches, etc. Also, you can feel the Californication vibe on every step. I lived in Hollywood and I would avoid this place at any cost. It's just too overrated and won't meet your expectations. Hollywood (esp. West Hollywood) is a big pile of dirtiness

I've moved here permanently. Kids are in an elite school for $600pm, and I'm the only non-Colombian parent. I'm surprised there aren't more foreigners. Going to Gringo Tuesdays is a very touristy thing, I only ever went once everyone is 25 and trying to get laid basically, and its P$11,000 a beer, my local pub sells beer for $P2,000 by comparison. I stayed here for 6 months and I absolutely love Mexico City. The life is comfortable if you stay in the bubbles, namely Roma Norte, Condesa and Polanco, but the living cost has increased 30% since last year, due to the inflation and skyrocketing mexican pesos. Mexican people are so friendly and I never had any safety issues. Definitely will be back in the future.

Seattle is a great city, especially if you like nature, there are plenty of outdoor activities to do all year round. People are generally open-minded and friendly. The cost of living is high but it allows you to be able to afford other places on earth easily if you can find a job here. You can also find plenty of good restaurants and arts around in the city. I recommend to stay at least 3-6 months to get the feel of living a PNW life.

This city is incredible. Now I understand why Parisians look down on other cities. It is endless. Museums, history, cool bars, incredible food, diversity, beautiful people nicely dressed... It helps a lot to speak French. It's expensive. I'd love to nomad here for a month or two. I really liked Marais as an area.

Cape Town is one of the best cities in the world. There are so many things to do in and around the city. The winelands in Stellenbosch and Constantia are a must-do. The people are very friendly. Cafe / restaurant scene is amazing. During my entire 3 month trip, I never once felt unsafe anywhere I went. If you're considering Cape Town, just do it - you won't regret it!
