I was just discussing travel insurance with my mother and she mentioned she’s had an EA+ policy ($179/year) for a couple years. Personally I buy a policy through World Nomads for 4-6 months at a time (usually $1-200/m). I’m more worried about in country care than evac assistance. EA+ seems to focus on evac, but I’m still curious about anyones experience with it.
EA+'s brochure language is a bit vague as to what “assistance” actually means. ie. are they arranging medical care, or paying for it. Curious if anyone has utilized them or made a claim? Seems cheap for what it claims to offer.
