Portimรฃo, Praia da Rocha, Alvor, and the beaches of Vau and Prainha are the gems of the Algarve! ๐ดโ๏ธ - Europe's finest digital nomad community can be found in Portimรฃo: Portimรฃo Digital Nomads (search on Facebook). They host free events to connect with people every two weeks! ๐๐ฅ - The prices for food, accommodation, and entertainment are very reasonable, much more affordable than the rest of Europe. ๐ฐ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ - The locals are incredibly friendly and fun-loving! ๐๐ค

I stayed for 7 days and was a little disappointed People are not very friendly, lots os places very dirty, people smoke a lot and the costs isn't affordable as people indicated here. Its a beautiful place, walkable, people have a good level of education, lots of things to do, but not as i imagined. Even so its a nice place.

It's probably the most dangerous city to live in Madrid and one of the most dangerous in europe, with constant pick-pocketing and even violent crimes to get your wallet and phone in certain areas. If you like a peaceful life, Barcelona is not the place anymore!!

I don't agree on the comment that says it is not used to digital nomads, the person hasn't made a proper research. There are a lot of hostels, amazing night life, people are very cool and respectful, young people know English, and it has lots of COWORKING areas, even in banks. But not all of this is only in the center of the city, you need to discover also Costa del Sol, with places like Benalmรกdena, Fuengirola and Marbella, where is full of digital nomads that come the area b

Great time to visit as there were hardly any tourists and only a few other travelers. Downside is a lot of the restaurants aren't open and some tours are shut down. Upside is you get to live like a local in a insanely touristy town 10 months of the year. We were able to grab a very nice 1 bedroom apartment in the old town center with a kitchen for 150 euros for 5 nights (30 euros/n). Probably 10-15 restaurants were open in the old town, incl
