Gorgeous city with great bars and restaurants, although poor nightlife. Ideal for summer days/evenings, with outstanding food, punting on the river, and nice shops. Great greens and Europe's longest outdoor pool on Jesus Green make it a nice place to 'chill' in the warmth. However, the nightclubs are poor and Cambridge lacks things to do when it's cold/wet.

LOVED my stay in Edinburgh! This was my very first stop as a nomad and I stayed here for a month with my partner. The city is so beautiful and has so much character. Everything just felt very easy, as previous people have mentioned, it's super walkable, great wifi, good bus system, amazing trails for running/biking, and lots to do. I'd recommend staying a round Cannon Mills or the Stock Bridge area. We stayed there and it was a nice, quite and more residential part of town, but was only a 20-30

It has a beach, it's one hour from London and the UK's 2 biggest airports. It's one of the few UK places outside of London which has a considerable cultural/creative scene. Unfortunately, the city has a massive problem with street-sleeping, begging and drugs (Many street people from the rest of the UK relocate to Brighton). It's difficult to spend an hour walking through the town centre without being harassed. In my 6 months living there, my apartment (in

Paris had originally disappointed me as a traveler, but if you have some proficiency with French, you should definitely come and visit Nice or any other place outside of the big cities in France as there will be more genuine people along with some history and cultural foods you can try.

There's cheap apartments available, but also more expensive high-quality luxurious ones. The old town has some nice bars. There's a lot of beautiful hikes to do, and fun activities like renting a quad and driving through Akamas or to Adonis Baths. Compared to Larnaka, Limassol and Nicosia, Paphos is less dense, more quiet and more of a family town. Cyprus changes quite a bit over the course of a year. It can be super green f

Everything works, beautiful greenery (hehe), cycling everywhere, happy people, great nightlife... Lots to love about. For nomads? Not a chance. Price of housing is outrageous, and the city is expensive af. They charge you 4.5-5 eur for a capuccino, completely shameless. An hour of public transport is 3 euros. I could go on and on. Weather is great even in December and the clubbing scene is fun. There's lots to do and it's a beautiful city overall. You have to watch out for pickpockets but as long as you aren't leaving things unattended or obviously in your pockets you'll be fine. I have heard of "nomads" coming here for a month and dropping 2k on a T1, while at most it shouldn't exceed 800 euros in the centre of Lisbon, which even like others have noted is an insane amount for locals. Also, the government should really start constructing social housing and do something about subletting/vacation rentals.

It is still great and you can find really cheap apartments (300-400$) and restaurants (2-3$ for a main). Wouldn't recommend staying there during the burning season. The best area is Nimman, but it's also the most expensive. You can stay in the old city that's very nice but that gets noisy during the weekend for the night markets. Last but not least, very safe city. All in all would go back in a heartbeat.

The people are gentle, the food is terrific, it's incredibly safe, gay friendly, legal weed if you like weed, and it's a pretty clean city. I am wrapping up my 2nd month here, and I don't have any complaints about the city at all. The traffic is the only thing that can be annoying but I am ok with it since I've been in Asia so long and know that's just how it is everywhere in Asia, often worse in other cities. You

The hip, young crowd you can find in Canggu for example is not there yet. There is only one decent coworking spot, not a lot of specialty cofee places. Most DNs stay in Rawai, which is OK - just a long street in a non-swimming beach. If you live there you will have to drive 15mins to go to the beach (Nai Han, Kata, etc). The infr

The Shaftsbury Hotel is modern with two convenience stores, pharmacy, restaurants, dental, and more in the actual building. There is a rain fountain in "mall" of the building that would be Putrajaya's attempt at Singapore's airport one.
