My partner and I moved here last year and we really enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle. English is the first language and 300 days of the sun and like for Europe it's relatively low-cost lof of living. We made a guide for anyone who wants to move here. You can read all about it in my better-looking blog at movinmalta . The whole website has a lot of pointers and tips on how to navigate your life around the island :)

Palermo is waaaaay cheaper than this. Lived here for two months and loved it! You need to get in touch with locals because some more touristic places might get expensive, but I was renting a 70sqm apartment in the city center for less than 500€ (November 2021). All in all a very good place, great food, friendly locals and nice coworking spaces :)

I was in Neapol recently, the city has a lot of potential, the weather is nice, it is not far away from very nice places like Capri or Ischia. However, the city itself is chaotic, dirty, no traffic rules, I felt more like in SE Asia than in Western Europe. There is not much going on in the city, you can walk the main stuff in half a day. I do not recommend to stay here short term, definitely not long term. Use the airport and then go to some charming village which there are plenty in this part o

Not gonna lie, I was pretty curious and kinda hyped before I came to Singapore. However, within 24 hours all of my curiosity turned into disappointment. Yes, Singapore is clean by any standards but especially by Asian standards. And yes, you have shopping malls, fancy skyscrapers and free toilets everywhere. But beside from that Singapore is boring and has no soul. It just seems like Singapore tries to copy interesting parts of other countries and their nature. Take Cloud Forest for example wh

I really wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of my least favourite cities. Perhaps it was just me, but there was an overwhelming sense of distrust and dislike towards foreigners, you have to try pretty hard to blend in if you want to experience the life of a local & avoid the tourism. I met some wonderful people and and there’s some cool communities to be part of, but another extended stay

Nomading here is tough because there are no reasonable Airbnbs and finding a short-term apt is difficult. You have to ask yourself, is it worth coming to Barcelona? It's probably the dirtiest city in Spain, and a bit sketchy. There's more beautiful and cleaner cities like Seville where you can find a reasonably priced Airbnb.

I can provide you some guidance. Istanbul is a fairly advanced metropolis in terms of transportation, to start. Don't limit yourself to staying in motels near old mosques. You may also like locations in the city's north like Saryer and Beykoz. You may get an Istanbul city card for 6 liras, and with the remaining $20 you load onto it, you can ride the bus 35–40 times. Even if months pass, your money on the card will not be lost. In actuality, the Taksim distri

Everything works, beautiful greenery (hehe), cycling everywhere, happy people, great nightlife... Lots to love about. For nomads? Not a chance. Price of housing is outrageous, and the city is expensive af. They charge you 4.5-5 eur for a capuccino, completely shameless. An hour of public transport is 3 euros. I could go on and on. Oslo is known for its great walkability and accessibility to nature. The public transport system is also great, and the city is safe. However, the downside is that it is a very expensive city. Basic items like fruits, vegetables, meat and even beer can be costly. Additionally, the import system in Norway is very protective, which means that grocery stores often only carry products that are made in Norway.

Nightlife is amazing, especially if you’re a woman. Free unlimited drinks for ladies, open bar, no catch, in two clubs in Media One Tower on Thursday. There is no place in the world that offers this. It's a bit of an older vibe than Canggu, and there's certainly a big chunk of yogi's kicking around — but I liked it much better than Canggu and found it less pretentious. Plus, you can drive down there in 45mins whenever you want some beach or party vibes.
