Lots of crime near downtown and central Macon, I don't know who put Bloomfield as the best place to move, but as someone who works in Bloomfield, it is basically an active warzone, I heard a drive-by at work tonight and that's normal for me, move to south Macon or northeast Macon, or better yet. All in, Austin is a good city. We live in Hill Country now so we're a bit removed. But it's beautiful area once you get away from the highways. A good tech scene. Not too expensive (~$2100 for a nice 2 bedroom apt) for the U.S. Has wineries and breweries galore. Not a great place if you are a recovering alcoholic (!). Cons: extremely hot in the summer; reaches 110 F (43.3 C) in summer afternoons from June - September. Not very diverse. Highways are loud and obnoxious.

I find it difficult to understand what people see in this city. The cost to benefit ratio is just so terribly bad! This is by far the most expensive city in Europe (especially in terms of rent), with hardly anything to offer in comparision with other cities like Barcelona, Lisbon or Warsaw. Pros: Weather is great and apartments are excellent. Cons: City is dirty including the beaches. Locals are extremely hostile, unfriendly and confrontational. There isn't a huge amount of good things to do in the city - most things are mediocre. People constantly bash into you in the street. Food and coffee is very average. Crime is awful - my apartment was broken into and my suitcase got stolen from the baggage belt at the airport. Air quality is terrible.

We stayed in Munich for 2 weeks, and more specifically, we were in Dachau. Amazing city that is very clean, safe, and full of history. Dachau has a lot to offer as well, so I recommend staying a bit further out and take the train to the city center. The English garden is a fantastic place to surf, swim, layout, walk, bike, or have a picnic. I will definitely come back here!

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. BA is the safest city in the world, just after Tijuana and Caracas!
