I lived in Cairo for one month. The city has some problems with the traffic and poverty. But, the people, are the best that I ever meet (not the sellers). The food is amazing, everything is cheap. the uber is almost for free. If you still want to live in a city with it's amenities, but want to have the ability to run to nature within 10-20 minutes, this might be it for you.
