I’ve been to Malmö multiple times and would say that I always feel safe during the day, but there are pockets I wouldn’t be so comfortable going to at night. The area close Triangeln Station is one place I didn’t feel so comfortable. Most of the center is fine though, I’d say — though I feel like the city has gotten worse since

Oslo is known for its great walkability and accessibility to nature. The public transport system is also great, and the city is safe. However, the downside is that it is a very expensive city. Basic items like fruits, vegetables, meat and even beer can be costly. Additionally, the import system in Norway is very protective, which means that grocery stores often only carry products that are made in Norway.
