Much more livable that I expected. Downtown is a bit dusty and unclean, but suburbs are great, with lots of restaurants and malls. Furthermore Jordan is smaller than it seems, there is basically one road crossing the country from North to South and you can always visit Petra or the beaches of Aqaba in a daytrip. Just avoid Ramadan as it can be very annoying for foreigners with all the restrictions.

I lived in Alexandria from 2001 to 2003. The air pollution doesn't stagnate because it's blown inland, unlike Cairo, and the quality of life is better. I have happy memories. I went back for a visit in 2008 and it hadn't really changed, but since then Egypt has endured tumultuous times.

I love Bulgaria, but Sofia wasn't my favorite part by far. It is quite an ugly city, mostly flat and grey in color. There are some decent hostel, decent bars and nightlife, but not really much for the tourist to do. Yes, the women are very attractive, and it's cheap to rent there... but why would you want to? I had a great time down on Varna, and along the coast of the black sea. Sofia is worth a visit or a place to stay a few weeks, but I wouldn't want to live there personally.

A great place to be. Excellent price/quality ratio. You can easily find everything needed to work: coworking, sim (you can eg use Airalo). There is a plenty of things to do in the city and around it. Food is dirt cheap and delicious. It can be trashy and sometimes touristy but that didn't cause problems for me.

I visited Nairobi twice - in 2017 and then again in 2019. On my second visit, I stayed in a comfortable 2 bdrm apartment with friends. It was super easy to move around - just call Uber. This is the most realest country I've visited next to my homeland in Jamaica. Streets are made of dirt. Horses still pull carts. Very little English spoken. Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Berlin is overall a great city to be. Food is cheap and everywhere, easy to go out and have fun/meet for business. Rent has crept up but still far better value than where I came from. Internet: 36 EUR/month get me 450/40 mbps (cable -> DOCSIS 3.0) Public transport is 2.70 EUR/ticket. No woman I know has said they felt unsafe. Some really odd, xenophobic sounding comments on here. Best city in Spain. Weather is great even in December and the clubbing scene is fun. There's lots to do and it's a beautiful city overall. You have to watch out for pickpockets but as long as you aren't leaving things unattended or obviously in your pockets you'll be fine. If you're into hostels, Hostel One Paralelo is BY FAR the best hostel in the area, worth every penny. Will definitely be back, and I never say that.

I spent a month here in January. It's beautiful, and there are plenty of touristy things to do, however the city is very expensive. There are plenty of places to shop, which is the main reason why I went. There are also plenty of WeWorks scattered across the city if you need somewhere consistent to work. The people weren't rude to me, but that's because I always greet people in French before asking for help or information, so to avoid rudeness, I'd suggest learning basic greetings and how to ask

A top city. Everything works, beautiful greenery (hehe), cycling everywhere, happy people, great nightlife... Lots to love about. For nomads? Not a chance. Price of housing is outrageous, and the city is expensive af. They charge you 4.5-5 eur for a capuccino, completely shameless. An hour of public transport is 3 euros. I could go on and on. I'd love to live there, but it's not worth it.

Just blindingly good. Best european city by miles. Cheap tube €26 for 5 days unlimited use! City centre is all walkable though. 4 or 5 distinct barrios with mega nightlife- does anyone actually work?!! Architecture fabulous on every street. Museum reno sofia; the best collection of 20c art, free entry after 7pm! The locals are friendly too. Could easily move here.

Chiang Mai used to be N.1 for the digital nomad life. It is still great and you can find really cheap apartments (300-400$) and restaurants (2-3$ for a main). Wouldn't recommend staying there during the burning season. The best area is Nimman, but it's also the most expensive. You can stay in the old city that's very nice but that gets noisy during the weekend for the night markets. Last but not least, very safe city. All in all would go back in a heartbeat.

I cannot help but agree with the review from the person before me. I'm finishing my 3 weeks trip here, and something feels off. Like that person put it rightly, everything is for sale, and nothing has value. There is no soul to this city and its people, locals or otherwise. Something is wrong here.

Putrajaya is the only place I would recommend due to its close proximity to the airport. The Shaftsbury Hotel is modern with two convenience stores, pharmacy, restaurants, dental, and more in the actual building. Playa Del Carmen is a super touristy beach town and the catch is, the beach is always full of seaweed, so if you expect to swim in it, have fun.
