Kyiv is a seriously not a good place for nomads to stay in. People don't speak english and are not friendly to foreigners at all, either you're white, asian, black, arab, latino, whatever. Food isn't really good specially when it comes to delivery, expensive and tasteless. The metro is cheap which is a good thing, and there is a nice architecture and places to go to.

This is my hometown and a city I lived in for around 20 years of my life. If you want a place with a climate much warmer that Moscow and lower prices - look no further. This town would be great for you. In terms of speaking the language - you need to know Russian at certain degree, otherwise it might a bit a hard for you to navigate in the city. The main street of the city is Krasnaya street and you can take a bike and go through the whole street and enjoy the beauty and the peace of the city.

It's quite boring. Not many things to do here. The beaches aren't clean. The place only seems lively in the summer. The rest of the year, most local businesses close their shops because there are no more tourists. Only malls are open all year. Most people don't speak English, so you are not likely to connect with people here. Many other cities in Romania like Bucharest (where I currently live), Cluj and Timisoara have much more to give.

Brasov is absolutely beautiful. Not a ton to do socially, and certainly no big nomad community. But the food is amazing, cost of living is cheap, and the parks and mountains surrounding you make it worth visiting! You can literally hike a gorgeous mountain walking about 5 minutes south of the old city center. It's also the most central location to visit nearby castles and national parks. You can buy tickets online and the trains are easy to navigate to get to places like Peles Castle in an hour

I have been several times to Burgas. The Sea Garden is amazing and you see so many people doing sports activities, jogging, gym in the park etc. The center of the city is the best part along with the Sea Garden, beaches are nice and has airport that starts to get traffic also in winter season. It is peaceful city and in terms of food and friendly people it is great. The downside is during winter you have not much to do and I have heard there are sometimes shortage of water for locals.

The pollution from cars is the worst thing about Plovdiv. Well, also the showers that take up the entire bathroom. The fascinating, long history is the best thing here. People are polite, decent, and helpful.

I just wanted to mention one thing, It is funny how it is listed that it is not safe for women and is not LGBTQ friendly meanwhile I have lots of friends recently who moved to Warsaw because they consider Warsaw to the safest city in the EU! I also have some Latin America LGBTQ friends coming to Warsaw because it is just safer here. If safety is your main concern, go to Warsaw, it's the best selling point of Warsaw. As a woman it is safe to come back to your place by yourself at 3 am.

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Generally favorable on Antalya, but not perfect. The weather was excellent (~26 C almost every day) and the nature of the city is absolutely stunning. The mountains on the west side of the city seem to just explode out of the ocean and it's special to see. That said, the built environment is pretty uninspiring. Extremely boring and uppity. Like others say, how on earth does everything close at 8pm? Even restaurants close their kitchen around 9pm ON WEEKENDS. The people really have this "arrogant, uppity" vibe that makes you want to leave ASAP. Yes, architecture is incredible. It's walkable, transportation works, etc. Incredibly expensive. I see no reason why would anyone choose Vienna to Budapest or Prague as their base. Good for 2-3 days trip, nothing else.

An interesting place which has a decent Russian-speaking community from post-Soviet republics. Poznan is a beautiful with warm and relaxed people. I was not expecting such a vibe and beautiful City. It is way more beautiful compared to Warsaw. Nice to see there is quite alot of Nomads and Coworking spaces in Poznan nowadays :)

Prague is a beautiful city and I like it despite its quirks. I use it as a base in Europe. It has literally everything you need for long-term living: high-quality food, great nightlife, cool malls with lots of shops, and most people speak English. It even has its own local version of Amazon called Alza, with pick-up stations scattered all over the city, which is great because you usually cannot receive packages in an Airbnb. Nomading here is tough because there are no reasonable Airbnbs and finding a short-term apt is difficult. You have to ask yourself, is it worth coming to Barcelona? It's probably the dirtiest city in Spain, and a bit sketchy. There's more beautiful and cleaner cities like Seville where you can find a reasonably priced Airbnb.

Málaga is great. I don't agree on the comment that says it is not used to digital nomads, the person hasn't made a proper research. There are a lot of hostels, amazing night life, people are very cool and respectful, young people know English, and it has lots of COWORKING areas, even in banks.
