I am from Moscow but grew up abroad. It's a lovely city, it's hard to find another city that matches the amount of cultural activities there are. Every day there are at least 2 festivals, 3 major concerts and tons of shows in theaters. The best season is winter and summer. The amount of decorations in the winter is incomparable (to London for example)! Snow adds magic to the city and if you are worried about the cold, there are plenty of shops with high quality winter clothes at decent prices. T

Love this city, very romantic and cool in the summer. but it is difficult to find a nice airbnb. it is too much small or too expensive for the quality. you will def have great time here. but unfortunately, I had problem to make friends here. some how, It seemed the locals were not quite interested in having communication or making forein friends even in the co-working space. Talking about that crime is considered taboo and, in many cases, is illegal. Sexual assault and gang violence against expats took place just outside my building, to people who lived in my building. Kaliningrad is great city! Most of "scores" and "Pros and Cons" are not true. Because of Baltic Sea, it's quite warm here in winter, not much of snow. But yes, humidity is quite high. Cannabis is illegal! Be attentive! People are tolerant, no matter who you are if you have good maneers.

I've been here just under a week so it might be too early to comment on Helsinki, but so far I like it. I'd like to second what the review from 9 mths ago said: I can recommend Noli Studios, specifically the Herttoniemi one. I'll tell you more about Finland once I've been here longer.

Overall, highly recommnded for the fall/spring. Great weather, food, wines and hikes. There are really nice coffeshops (currently writing from one, "The coffee place"). Internet is Ok, but check the accommodation before. Right now there is a lot of anti-sentiment for Russia, so consider that if you're from there.

I absolutely love Istanbul! My biggest recommendation would be to stay in Cihangir or Nişantaşı and avoid the main centre. Cihangir has so many beautiful cafes to work from and there are a lot of people working remotely so it's a really nice vibe. I agree with the comments about taxis, we just caught ubers but mostly walked everywhere which I would recommend. If you stay in Cihangir you can easily walk to Taxim square and through Galata. The food scene here is great once you know where to go

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Super safe city, many things to do, good restaurants. Nightlife is great (especially Boho Bar) but it's not for everyone as locals like to stick to tables and don't socialize much. The city is very walkable.

I've been here 2 years now. I pay for internet at 3 seperate places (home, office, 2nd apartment on seaside) I pay about $20 USD / month for 300Mbps/300Mbps at each of the 3. Internet here is super cheap, reliable and fast.

Antalya has been growing so much as a DN destination... There are events and meetups every day of the week. Most of them centered around Coworking Antalya. They solved the problem of inspiring workspace with their facilities right in the center of town with an extraordinary sea view. I quite liked Zagreb. People are fairly warm, and it's charmingly laid out. Lots of good cafes and restaurants, and the center is pretty walkable. Was here in Mid-2023. Bali has completely changed from when I last visited in 2017. Full of arrogant influences and degenerate party people who are entitled and have no respect for the locals. Many Uber drivers told me they are starting to get annoyed because a lot of Westerners don’t respect anything…. Pollution and traffic are on the rise. It is turning into Kuta. Probably one of the least walkable places, forget walking on the sidewalk unless you want to get taken out. A lot of accidents
