For internet, don't bother with landline. Just pay for the biggest 4G plan you can get and tether constantly, save yourself the headache. Kukun is the nicest coworking spot, but very expensive, even by international standards ($90usd/week).

Port harcourt is no doubt an amazing city. Enjoyed every single second of the days spent there. The SME and tech start-up space is really buzzing and growing real fast. Met quite a few interesting entrepreneurs and looking forward to visiting again sometimes soon!

Be ready to spend more than 30 euros per person per meal to eat anything remotely decent - The locals will try to scam you any time they can - The night life is very poor, I am not sure why the score is so high - Traveling here with gf/spouse: Egypt is not the most welcoming place for western women I would say it is good for stays of less than 1 month, but after 1 month y

Many cafes and workspaces to work from, including the Nero chain. Per Europe, data rates are very cheap and vendors are plentiful. Liverpool ONE's grassy roof was a perfect spot to take an important business call. Find all the Liver birds you can! Museums and galleries here are fantastic workspaces too as most have not terribly expensive cafes and VERY quiet workspaces. Student town, so take note. Lived there last September and October and am coming back later this year. Yes, it is expensive, but after a while I learned about affordable places to eat and realized I could choose neighborhoods farther from city center, and it would still be nice. City feels super safe, even at nigh! Internet is crazy fast (I got 500mb on my airbnb) there are tons to do and see and I did not encounter the super rude Parisians people talk so much about, mostly everyone spoke English and were very polite. Wouldn't recommend staying here for a longer time as price levels are almost Parisienne. Also, you can easily see all the good spots within 3 days or so. Pros: - nice tourist attractions (quite a couple of them) - many food options - people are open & friendly Cons: - hella expensive - limited vegan food options - you should at least understand some Dutch or French to survive here

For visiting tourists, the best neighborhood to stay in is NOT Bushwick. Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Ft. Green or Brooklyn Heights is preferable. Plenty of good transportation in those areas - subway, buses or Uber. Easy access to beaches in Long Island and New Jersey. There's plenty to do in NYC. Great restaurants, Broadway plays (!), and in the summer you frequently can catch a free concert.
