Hi guys,
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about my travel experiences over the last few years. I started looking at old travel photos and one thing led to another…
While getting nostalgic, I began to ponder over the ways in which my travel has changed over the years. I thought about how much time I’d spent, perhaps needlessly, before my travels in a more anxious, static lifestyle, confined to my comfort zone, and essentially ignorant to so many of the many benefits a life of perpetual travel has to offer.
I began to ask, if I could go back 10 years and give myself some advice which could get me to travel sooner, what might I have said?
This got me thinking:
There’s so much valuable content about the travel process scattered across various books, blogs, forums, and videos. Frankly it’s overwhelming, and I consider myself to be a relatively experienced traveler. I can only imagine what this would be like for someone who’s perhaps just beginning to consider taking the travel leap for the first time - Let alone becoming a perpetual traveler.
Was wondering if I had a free, centralized resource which pooled together the expert traveler’s experiences, in a simplified step by step fashion, would I have begun travelling sooner? An inspiring collaboration of sorts, which is continually updated to reflect the latest trends and tools in travel.
Does this exist? Is there a resource which helped you transition from aspiring traveler to nomad?
Hi guys,
I’m planning to spend a month in Australia before 3-4 months in Thailand, and was wondering if anyone has any experience of applying for the single entry Thai tourist visa in Australia while being a citizen of another country. I ask because in the UK, for example, they won’t give you that visa unless you are a UK resident, and I won’t be an OZ resident then.
I will be travelling before that so cannot apply in my home country.
I am aware of the Penang option, but I am specifically asking about this scenario.
Any feedback would be gratefully received!

I’m movie to Melbourne Australia in mid March where I’ll be staying for at least 6 months. I have a 12 month visa but I’m not sure if I want to stay that long. I want to rent an apartment and I’m looking for some advise on how to do this from those who live or have lived there. I know of gumtree and craigslist to look, but I was also thinking about a rental agency that could find something for me. I’d like to stay right around $350 AUD per week. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
