Very cheap city, I don't know what nomadlist is smoking with their price estimates. I spent around $500-600/mo while I was here even while living in city center. City is relatively safe but you'll occasionally get harassed by beggars which can create a feeling of unease. Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Nomading here is tough because there are no reasonable Airbnbs and finding a short-term apt is difficult. You have to ask yourself, is it worth coming to Barcelona? It's probably the dirtiest city in Spain, and a bit sketchy. There's more beautiful and cleaner cities like Seville where you can find a reasonably priced Airbnb.

Seseh is a small, beachy area north of Canggu. It's not really a community of its own, although that's changing as people move north from being priced out of the Canggu Airbnb market. Seseh is built mostly on "green land", or land zoned for nature use rather than commercial or residential use. For this reason, land is scarce and rentals are quite expensive, with some Airbnb properties exceeding $6000 USD/mo. There is an enclave of expensive Airbnbs next to Seseh Beach which has nice homes.
