I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

I really liked Chiang Mai but I can't put my finger on why. I'll try to remain unbiased so here goes. Chiang Mai is a dirty place with horrible pollution levels. English speaking is okay. I did really enjoy a balance of simple, risk-free living at low cost and acceptable quality of living. Many places only accept cash but plenty accept card. There's lots to do and it's fun exploring on a moped/motorbike. It feels as easy as Canggu with more modern appointments to get by as a westerner a bit easi

One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Nişantaşı, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

How did you guys classified Penge as rich? It is one of the worst neighbourhood I have ever been in London, the ammount of people I know that have been robbed there is appalling.

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. There's no reason to live in this city. I spent a year here. The weather is not even a bit nicer compared to central-eastern Europe. Maybe when it's -4 degrees in Budapest, it's +1 in Barcelona. That's just as cold. And the insulation in apartments is practically non-existent, as well as AC and heating. Still an amazing island, with very diverse adctivities, but prices have gone up massively lately due to an influx of European war 'refugees' and the recent growth of the digital nomad scene. I am here right now from the US for almost 6 months. A cool place. If you live in Funchal, it's quite calm and yet with a couple of coworking spaces. Then you can travel on the weekends with a car. I'd definitely recommend this place for a month or two.

Lisbon is getting expensive and Porto is still affordable, cheap except to the locals. They can't even rent or buy there anymore. If you go to Porto or similar and pay for overpriced housing and services, you will be contributing to this small city becoming even more expensive. Portugal is small so Portuguese people don't have anywhere else to go. When Porto becomes expensive like Lisbon you can just go away, but the locals can't. They opened their doors to you, be respectful.

Penang is really, really hot and humid. It's pretty affordable but it's relatively small. Personally, I think traveling Penang is great because you have a mix of cultures but I couldn't stay here for a longer time because it is so unbelievable hot.

I have worked remotely from Minca for the last 4 years and can attest that there are a few good spots with a reliable internet connection! The place is a paradise to work from, as the natural beauty of the mountain inspires, relaxes, and connects! I would suggest searching on AirBnB for houses with good WiFi or check the local ex-pat in santa marta page for tips!

La Paz and Bolivia in general is a very interesting place to visit! The city is fairly cold all year around, and so is the hotels and restaurants… basically make sure to bring warm clothes. The city is messy, ugly and unorganized, but the city have a character! The surroundings of the nature and environment around is amazing, beautiful mountains and such. When getting a SIM card it is 3G and LTE. I never found Wi-Fi reaching 10 Mbps (At the Selina Hostel where I stayed). Prices here doesn�
