I don't know exactly how Barcelona is still considered safe but it's far from it. It's probably the most dangerous city to live in Madrid and one of the most dangerous in europe, with constant pick-pocketing and even violent crimes to get your wallet and phone in certain areas. If you like a peaceful life, Barcelona is not the place anymore!!

It is more expensve than expected. Depending whete you live, streets can be dirty. It seems the government only uses the tax money to invest in the high en areas. Thwre are is a lot of inequality. People are very racist. I am Mexican, and the first thing people ask me here, is whete do I come from. Nice place to live, but for travel not sure. Things are very expensive if you want to stay in a hotel and eat out most of the time. Price for cafe is not that crazy but still not the reasonable. Not many fun places to go as a traveler. But if you have a place you can cook by yourself, have some friends to hang out, and enjoy simple and quite lifestyle, then I do recommend to come Stockholm. I'm enjoying a peaceful and calm daily life here!

Hi guys! Tenerife is amazing. Good weather all year round, fast internet, friendly people (especially if you speak a few words Spanish), low criminality. I was in the South in Adeje where I found an amazing coliving place (check google: Ojala Casa Tenerife). It's by far the best place to be in Europe.

Romanians are friendly and welcoming people. The young generation speaks perfect English. The city itself is rather disappointing. Dirty, rundown, many empty buildings.... plenty of traffic and not much to do.

Downside is a lot of the restaurants aren't open and some tours are shut down. Upside is you get to live like a local in a insanely touristy town 10 months of the year.
