Well. Stayed 3 days close to the beach. Last day on the toilet and 2 days in the bed at home (Czech Rep.). Cought the famous disease from water probably. So my review is probably not objective :-). My nomadic experience about Morroco however is quite poor. Dirty, uncertain, you can't believe anyone, not feeling safe at all ... I am maybe too old for this kind of adventure :-)
High speed internet in Fes, Morocco ? Yes, it' possible. Visit Café Clock, on rue Talaa Kebira (actually its located on a small street perpendicular to Talaa Kebira, simply look for the sign) We've been on the hunt to find high speed internet in Fes and the only place we've find is this great restaurant/cafe. Internet speed was between 40mbs and 101mbs. A few electric plugs and a very nice menu (finally a place serving other things than tagine or couscous) Delicious vegan options, fresh juices, great ambiance, comfy couches.
Information here about Gibraltar is very inaccurate. (but not willing to pay just to be able to fix it)
great city - perfect weather , great food, great tech scene
The old center is ok but the rest is not so great!
Budapest + hungary has the pro-s of a tropical digital nomad hideaway, if you go there in the warmer months: the climate is like in Bali between June and September, however mornings can be refreshing. And there s a plethora of spas, thermal baths and swallow lakes with waterskiing and boarding amenities throughout the country which is easily and quickly accessible by the grid of well-maintained highways. The street scenery and style spans somewhere between Barcelona and Berlin so as the plentiful nightlife programs and the scope of culture and art ! Almost the entire younger generation speaks pretty good english however with the elders you might have language barriers.
Circus scene is AMAZING, the restaurants are great, and it's super easy to eat vegan here. Love this city! The winter is really hard though. I plan to leave before it returns.
Been to Santo Domingo sooooooooooo many times lived there really cool city chaotic lol Dominicans are friendly but can also be very sneaky, even their own people say don't trust us LOL but meet wonderful people but just like ever where else be careful stay alert its some what expensive if you let the "chapiadores" run your pocket and go clubbing every night it can get expensive
There is a new coworking space called FreeSpace that is only $49.99 per month and offers access to all three locations (Kits, Chinatown, Yaletown). The way it works is FreeSpace partners with local restaurants that are only open in the evenings and transforms them into unique, comfortable and affordable drop in coworking spaces during the day while the restaurant is closed. The don't have private boardrooms or phone booths for confidential exchanges, but they do have free coffee, outlets at every seat, and super fast Wifi (300mbps- I was surprised!). It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that a lot of other coworking spaces available but if you are just looking for somewhere to stop in, grab a coffee, and get to work, this is an excellent alternative at a fraction of the cost. Check it out www.thisfreespace.com
