@Fussen - Youโre welcome. Yeah, we are very low key, and this place fits the bill perfectly. It got slightly busier during Xmas, but still 99% empty. They say in the summer it gets much busier, but I am not sure how busy, this resort canโt be 50% sold. (I am only guessing, havenโt been here during the summer) Also, itโs mostly foreigners here, not many locals, but there are some weโve met. Most foreigners are from GB.
I am sure you could probably get a similarly priced unit even last minute, since there are so many. I think any lower in price, people would rather not go through the trouble of renting it. 3 years ago, we got the same 350 euro, but it was a 2 bedroom and included the electric.
The network is fairly good, stable mostly. Last visit, we never had any down time, this time, during some bad rain, it was down. We were told that itโs RF, but I canโt imagine that being really the case. All the units have the same sat TV and network. 10/2 isnโt terrible, I have the lowest end fiber at home 50/15, but this is totally manageable, no issues so far even with the tons of connected devices 3 kids + 2 adults have. So weโve only had that one issue in the past 12 days.
They all have towns near by, like 5 - 8 minutes by car. Murcia is the capital of the region and is 35 minutes from either of those two resorts I mentioned. The Med is about 15 mins away. As for services, everything is pretty much open at the resort, even the pools, although itโs too cold to dip in, the kids have tried before. Golf is open, club house cafe/rest., sports center, tennis courts, soccer pitch, convenient store/bakery, pizza, ice cream, restaurants, etcโฆ
You definitely need to have a car though, since youโll want to rejoin the Spanish community at some point.
