Canggu is a great place to live. Im a remote worker and have lived here for most of COVID and then some. In total Im thinking something like 20 of the last 24 months! It is brilliantly priced for someone with a steady income who wants their money to go far. I spent about $3,000 USD living like a king with a prime location villa, private chef, the most expensive gym and spa membership, and eating out at least 10 times a week.

Putrajaya is the only place I would recommend due to its close proximity to the airport. The Shaftsbury Hotel is modern with two convenience stores, pharmacy, restaurants, dental, and more in the actual building. There is a rain fountain in "mall" of the building that would be Putrajaya's attempt at Singapore's airport one. The location is also literally right across from the bigger mall that has restaurants, international grocery store, movie theater, bowling, electronics, etc. It's a safe a

Koh Phangan has potential to become an awesome nomad hotspot. It's close, but itโ€™s not quite there yet. Iโ€™ve spent 5 months here during the 2021 COVID-lockdown. Pros: - Stunning nature all around you - You can live right on the beach, or have a sick view from a hill - Can be very affordable - Laid back, Bali-like lifestyle - Low amount of traffic, very chill to drive around - Lots of yoga, gyms, muay thai, etc - Easy to explore other parts of Thailand (when there's no lockdown) - E-commerce

Brighton has some obvious positives. It has a beach, it's one hour from London and the UK's 2 biggest airports. It's one of the few UK places outside of London which has a considerable cultural/creative scene. Unfortunately, the city has a massive problem with street-sleeping, begging and drugs (Many street people from the rest of the UK relocate to Brighton). It's difficult to spend an hour walking through the town centre without being harassed. In my 6 months living there, my apartment (in
