I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

There's no reason to live in this city. I spent a year here. The weather is not even a bit nicer compared to central-eastern Europe. Maybe when it's -4 degrees in Budapest, it's +1 in Barcelona. That's just as cold. And the insulation in apartments is practically non-existent, as well as AC and heating. Just returned to Europe from spending three weeks in Canggu and I can definitely not recommend it. One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Nişantaşı, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

Touristy circus of a place. Everyone is trying to rip you off... even as fluent Spanish speaker. Check out PV or anywhere west coast instead.

The center around Rynok Square was awesome with scenic views, street performers, interesting and creative restaurants, places to grab a beer/wine, coffee shops, pedestrian areas, etc. During the school year one out of five people in Lviv are students and so it definitely has a college town vibe. Personally I think it's Ukraine's best city and I found the cost of living value ratio to be superb. The co-working space I went to (iHub) had a good mix of locals and foreign digital nomads.
