I have been staying on this island for about 2 years, and would like to remind everybody something : working remotely is illegal in Thailand, and can get you in serious troubles if you do any kind of work without a work permit. There has been in the past reported cases of arrests in so called "co-working spaces". I think it is only a fair warning to people who plan to come here and hang in co-working spaces. 2 years ago koh phangan did not have a good rating on nomad list, not much as changed si

I'm the one who left the review complaining about how people don't speak English 2-3 months ago. I think it's only fair to leave another review as I projected a pretty negative overall picture of the place. I came back a second time and boy, I'm glad I did. The language barrier didn't disappear, but I came with a different mindset and made efforts to learn some basic Spanish. Being able to explain how you want your coffee even makes a huge difference. Mexican people are kind and warm-hearted.

I have only been to a couple of digital nomad spots around the world, but I must say I have been disappointed with PDC for several reasons. I am a coworking space kind of girl and even though there are a few here, they are all not great. Especially if you compare them to the spaces in Bali Canggu/Ubud for example. In PDC it was all about choosing the lesser „evil“ for me. They are okay, but I didn‘t feel the same community vibes or very inspired in these places. The choices of healthy foo
