Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. Vietnamese food is world-class because of the huge Vietnamese population. If you want hipster bars and cafes, there's plenty of that. If you want old-world-charm there's plenty of that. If you want posh luxury there's some of Europes best restaurants and cockta

I stayed in Poblenou, which is a really chill upcoming area outside of the tourism of Barcelona. Really enjoyed it. Very tranquil. People were relatively friendly compared to most in Europe and there was lots of nice food and coffee places. Also pretty okay gyms. Really enjoyed Barcelona this time! Just make sure you stay outside the tourist areas.

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

A top city. Everything works, beautiful greenery (hehe), cycling everywhere, happy people, great nightlife... Lots to love about. For nomads? Not a chance. Price of housing is outrageous, and the city is expensive af. They charge you 4.5-5 eur for a capuccino, completely shameless. An hour of public transport is 3 euros. I could go on and on. I'd love to live there, but it's not worth it.

Liked Madrid,but its a bit dangerous in the evening and way to expensive! people can be really nice when they meet you but after a while you realize all it's not what it seems. And Barcelona is exactly the same.

Romanians are friendly and welcoming people. The young generation speaks perfect English. The city itself is rather disappointing. Dirty, rundown, many empty buildings.... plenty of traffic and not much to do.

Nice place to live, but for travel not sure. Things are very expensive if you want to stay in a hotel and eat out most of the time. Price for cafe is not that crazy but still not the reasonable. Not many fun places to go as a traveler. But if you have a place you can cook by yourself, have some friends to hang out, and enjoy simple and quite lifestyle, then I do recommend to come Stockholm. I'm enjoying a peaceful and calm daily life here!

Just wondering about the cost of $614 per. month? I've in the area often, and am here for 2 months. I've never seen any apts. or hotels under $700 per month, and that's just for a small room in a guest house, no kitchen.

Cool little town to live in and work from, I was there for 3 weeks in low season. Lots of great restaurants, cafes etc. Nice easy access to the beach, riverside and countryside. Nightlife is quieter, but if you don't care about that, it's great. The Hub coworking there is run by some super friendly people and the new location they are building looks like it should be fantastic..

Lombok definitely has the most amazing virgin beaches , waterfall, and marine life! Senggigi is just one of its many long white sand beaches and a lot of them are still waiting to be discovered. Not much of a party going on here, but if you are itching for one, just hope to a speed boat for 15 minutes and you will arrive in the wild gili trawangan. I was only staying for 4 days, then I fell in love . Been here for 6 months and counting.
