Manchester is a working town, but has much going on in the weekend days. Well connected by train for the rest of England as well as cheap flights to Ireland and London if needed. National Football Museum, arcades, and high end and low end food for any budget.

Cool city with lots of fun places to go out, very nice restaurants and quite an international environment. I went there twice already and in winter it's horribly cold, while in summer it's super hot. Definitely recommend going there in Spring/Autumn. The castle is nice and Danube riverside is great too, you'll get lots of things to do. Can recommend Nomad Traveller's Bar and there daily pubcrawl! Also, to all fellow vegans, the food scene is great. Lot's of places order vegan options and if you

I visited Prague on more than one occasion and tried something new each time. I really wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of my least favourite cities. Perhaps it was just me, but there was an overwhelming sense of distrust and dislike towards foreigners, you have to try pretty hard to blend in if you want to experience the life of a local & avoid the tourism. I met some wonderful people and and thereโ€™s some cool communities to be part of, but another extended stay

  • Edinburgh

Edinburgh is one of my favorite cities and I've spent quite a bit of time here. It's charming, friendly, beautiful, and walkable, and has a range of cafes and coffeeshops with fast wifi. The downsides: it's pretty expensive (housing especially), and there doesn't seem to be much of a nomad scene. The general tech scene seems to be smallish but growing (CodeBase seems cool), but not many nomads seem to come here.

  • Brussels

Super expensive city, with some nice tourist attractions. Wouldn't recommend staying here for a longer time as price levels are almost Parisienne. Also, you can easily see all the good spots within 3 days or so. Pros: - nice tourist attractions (quite a couple of them) - many food options - people are open & friendly Cons: - hella expensive - limited vegan food options - you should at least understand some Dutch or French to survive here

To be quite honest, the old town of BRATISLAVA is easy to finish in 1 day + the outer parts of it. Seemed quite mischevious in some ways with the people over there or maybe I am just confusing it with KOSICE which is by far one of the awful experiences I have had in SLOVAKIA.

I lived in Brno for 6 months working as an expat. I am from US and have lived in NJ and NYC and been to almost every major city in the US. Compared to US Cities, this place just works, it's very easy to live here and the public transportation is wonderful. It was also extremely cheap compared to any US city and I could afford to eat out every meal and go to the fancier restaurants on my US salary. Samui is definitely improving, but still not up there with the top nomad hotspots. Pros: - Has an airport, so you can fly in straight from Bangkok and it only takes an hour - Has nice villas in Mae Nam you can rent with beautiful view over the ocean and Ko Pha Ngan in the distance - Grab delivery food works okay here, although options are quite limited compared to Bangkok - WiFi is good and fast around the island, no problems at all - Driving a bike/scooter here is quite do-able as traffic is n

I lived in Central Warsaw on and off for about 1 year pre and post-pandemic. Central Warsaw is the "New York of Eastern Europe". Pros: - Very convenient, safe and clean. - Lots of modern, futuristic buildings. Easy to find nice apartments. - Very bike-able. - Not too expensive. - Lots of coworking spaces. - Some startup culture and quite a few meetups (pre-pandemic). - Polish women are beautiful. - Interesting history.
