One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Nişantaşı, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

7 years ago Lisbon was amazing. Since it became trendy lost what made it unique. I will return when the hype is gone!

The scores are misleading and do not represent the reality of Medellin. Internet is super fast in most places and it's very safe (the murder rate is 15 for 100,000 which is well below most US cities).

I stayed here for 6 months and I absolutely love Mexico City. The life is comfortable if you stay in the bubbles, namely Roma Norte, Condesa and Polanco, but the living cost has increased 30% since last year, due to the inflation and skyrocketing mexican pesos. Mexican people are so friendly and I never had any safety issues. Definitely will be back in the future.

I stayed in Poblenou, which is a really chill upcoming area outside of the tourism of Barcelona. Really enjoyed it. Very tranquil. People were relatively friendly compared to most in Europe and there was lots of nice food and coffee places. Also pretty okay gyms. Really enjoyed Barcelona this time! Just make sure you stay outside the tourist areas.

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Overall, highly recommnded for the fall/spring. Great weather, food, wines and hikes. There are really nice coffeshops (currently writing from one, "The coffee place"). Internet is Ok, but check the accommodation before. Right now there is a lot of anti-sentiment for Russia, so consider that if you're from there.

I've been here 2 years now. I pay for internet at 3 seperate places (home, office, 2nd apartment on seaside) I pay about $20 USD / month for 300Mbps/300Mbps at each of the 3. Internet here is super cheap, reliable and fast.

Super safe city, many things to do, good restaurants. Nightlife is great (especially Boho Bar) but it's not for everyone as locals like to stick to tables and don't socialize much. The city is very walkable.

Bengaluru, January 4-9, and 13-13, 2020. Had a good time in Bengaluru ( formerly Bangalore). At first I stayed at the Parijatha Gateway Hotel, Near Soap Factory Metro, which was ideal for my purposes. Transit & shopping was nearby, and there was a mall and good food. Spent two weeks there and honestly I wish I had planned to stay longer. I don’t know why it says the internet is bad. My airbnb had a very fast wifi of almost 100GB. Also, buying a sim card is really cheap, I paid 150k vnd (around 6 dollars) for 180GB. It's a gem! Niš is a tiny city full of green places to walk and friendly people. Cost of living is ridiculously cheap (current $2,137 / month listed here in nomadlist is probably wrong, as you can live here comfortably for half of that or even less, even living in the main street in downtown and eating out everyday).

This is a really cute little city with friendly people, high level of English and good prices. Restaurants were so-so, smoking everywhere which is terrible if you want to be able to eat your meal without choking on smoke, and bad air quality in winter. Beyond those two negative points, it has a lot to offer.

Stayed here for about a month. Queretaro is a great foodie place, and you'll enjoy the old colonial city and a view of the aqueduct. The weather is favorable, safety is high, middle class majority and also very walkable. But aside from that, it can get really boring like a mexican suburbia. It is like a watered-down version of mexican culture.
