I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. There's no reason to live in this city. I spent a year here. The weather is not even a bit nicer compared to central-eastern Europe. Maybe when it's -4 degrees in Budapest, it's +1 in Barcelona. That's just as cold. And the insulation in apartments is practically non-existent, as well as AC and heating. Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. I've lived in New York City - Brooklyn - for over 20 years. For visiting tourists, the best neighborhood to stay in is NOT Bushwick. Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Ft. Green or Brooklyn Heights is preferable. Plenty of good transportation in those areas - subway, buses or Uber. Easy access to beaches in Long Island and New Jersey. There's plenty to do in NYC. Great restaurants, Broadway plays (!), and in the summer you frequently can catch a free concert.

Dirty. Hospital system is atrocious. Its like having a bunch of shiny glossy hospitals with poorly educated doctors everywhere. Just arrived in KL, we are 30/35yrs+, a married couple and digital nomads, and wow.. What a city! This is the New York City of Asia. These appartments are epic. Kathmandu has frequent power outages as of December 2019 even though everyone says otherwise, as does Pokhara. Rent is cheap by German standards. Clean and tidy city, good public transport. Like the rest of East Germany, it’s full of old people. If you’re under 40, don’t come here. Dresden is a mausoleum.

I absolutely love living in this city. It's very clean, safe and things generally always work! This is something I miss when I travel to other cities in Europe and rest of the world. Also co-working spaces are growing tons. Though night life might be pretty "boring", it truly is what you make it. Get to know other expats and friends through meetups or friend of a friend, and you'll have an awesome time here!

I've been in Helsinki on New Year's Eve and it's been okay. There isn't lots of fireworks but in front of the main cathedral you'll find some. This guide is UTTERLY WRONG. $3.300 per month!? You can rent a room as cheap as 200€ (erasmus rooms), 1beer costs usually under 2€ and has a free 'Tapa' - normally when I go out, with 5€ I've eaten and drank enough. Coworkings cost somewhere from 70-120€ depending if part time or full time. Then you can go almost anywhere around walking, and by bus to the mountains. Compared to Berlin, the Internet is much faster and cheaper. Simyo has 20€ prepaid cards that give you 60GB data x month.
