Historic city with the best bits downtown. View from cafe on Lycabettus Hill highly worth it, although they have no outlets for charging. Vegan Beat is the best vegan restaurant, their Burger Gyro is delicious!

Charming city in Greece, highly walkable with beautiful views. View from the monastery is worth the trek, it is better than the view from the fortress. Narrow, bustling streets and a boardwalk on the sea, what more can you ask for?

Came here with Aron, half of the trip was under a soft lockdown but we still got to see some churches and eat takeout. The last day was memorable: Palace Bridge had a crowd waiting for it to raise, but it never did. But that was ok, because a street performer played some cool music that people sang and (some) danced to!

Very cool place! A little bit scary, because the politics was on my mind, but fascinating. The Mosques were beautiful, the streets eventful, the view magnificent. Made all the better by meeting Shauqi at the hostel, he gave me a full on tour of the city! One thing I did not like: everyone is very loud! They're persistent salesmen, and have this air of "you're here to buy" when asking questions.

Visited my friend Yannal, he gave me a tour of the place. Very cool city, everything was made out of limestone. Downtown was very crowded and noisy, cars honk literally every other second, but I loved it. Also visited Petra (alone), a site to behold!

Went with Aron and Kyle to this pretty remote place. The last 2-3 hour driving was all dirt roads, super windy, through a tree logging area owned by natives. Bamfield is a tiny but very charming fishing town, separated by a river and connected with ferries.

All in, Austin is a good city. We live in Hill Country now so we're a bit removed. But it's beautiful area once you get away from the highways. A good tech scene. Not too expensive (~$2100 for a nice 2 bedroom apt) for the U.S. Has wineries and breweries galore. Not a great place if you are a recovering alcoholic (!). Cons: extremely hot in the summer; reaches 110 F (43.3 C) in summer afternoons from June - September. Not very diverse. Highways are loud and obnoxious.

Read the review that starts "I live here and I can tell you that many of the stats listed are wrong" - its spot on accurate I will add to that - Vancouver is brain-numbingly boring and dead. There is noticeable and toxic mix of pedestrians, cyclists and car drivers. Mix in a very Vancouver trait of entitlement, and watch the the passive aggression fly. Dayton is a growing city. Many parts of Dayton-proper are still experiencing severe poverty but a few area are beginning to see gentrification. The area has moved away from the large-scale industry which has all but abandoned the area and now experiences a lot of growth through local entrepreneurs including a rich culture of Craft Beer brewing, tattoo shops, cafes, music, and a variety of other "fun" businesses. While Dayton, itself, is growing fast and the housing prices can be extremely cheap,

Cool city with lots of fun places to go out, very nice restaurants and quite an international environment. I went there twice already and in winter it's horribly cold, while in summer it's super hot. Definitely recommend going there in Spring/Autumn. The castle is nice and Danube riverside is great too, you'll get lots of things to do. Can recommend Nomad Traveller's Bar and there daily pubcrawl! Also, to all fellow vegans, the food scene is great. Lot's of places order vegan options and if you

  • New York City

I've lived in New York City - Brooklyn - for over 20 years. For visiting tourists, the best neighborhood to stay in is NOT Bushwick. Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Ft. Green or Brooklyn Heights is preferable. Plenty of good transportation in those areas - subway, buses or Uber. Easy access to beaches in Long Island and New Jersey. There's plenty to do in NYC. Great restaurants, Broadway plays (!), and in the summer you frequently can catch a free concert.

I must be alone on this one; but I did 2 weeks in CDMX and it wasn't great for me. First of all, it was CHILLY in the mornings and at night (late August - Early Sept). And to stay in the nicer and convenient neighborhoods, which you kind of have to in CDMX or you will be bothered, the airbnbs were pricey, and nearby restaurants too. Sidewalks very small and cramped. The vendors and police were a bit aggressive here. The nightlife was a bit dull to me, limited to just a few places. The green park

I have visited Tallahassee several times over the past few years. I agree that it doesn't feel particularly safe - even in areas that appear "safe". They also have ziplining there, which was a dream - up above the cypress swamp! I loved the fact that there were so many nature parks, bird sanctuaries and

Love this city, very romantic and cool in the summer. but it is difficult to find a nice airbnb. it is too much small or too expensive for the quality. you will def have great time here. but unfortunately, I had problem to make friends here. some how, It seemed the locals were not quite interested in having communication or making forein friends even in the co-working space. I don't think this is because of the language barrier but...I cant explain this well. anyway, the city is great to stay f

Overall, a pretty great place. Good restaurants and many breweries. Solid entertainment. It has all four seasons and lots of sunshine. Some homelessness issues downtown, like most cities.

  • Dayton

Dayton is a growing city. Many parts of Dayton-proper are still experiencing severe poverty but a few area are beginning to see gentrification. The area has moved away from the large-scale industry which has all but abandoned the area and now experiences a lot of growth through local entrepreneurs including a rich culture of Craft Beer brewing, tattoo shops, cafes, music, and a variety of other "fun" businesses. While Dayton, itself, is growing fast and the housing prices can be extremely cheap,
